I meant that a lot of British-centric artists cross over to Ireland but often domestically popular Irish artists don't often cross over here - Kingfishr, alongside other similar-sounding acts like Amble, have been big presences across the Irish singles chart the last couple of years but have barely registered here in the UK (Kingfishr's album debuted at #7 but only charted for one week). Fontaines D.C. and to a lesser extent CMAT are the only two that have consistently charted here that come to mind from this decade

Fontaines were #1 in Australia too, they are just a popular band in general.
