I remember the days when Christmas was only celebrated at Christmas time. It's become very Americanised.

Has the cure dropped out of the top 40 or am I going a bit blind?

It’s on acr this week but it’s fallen below her top 3 songs so it’s starred out

Which is overdue a top 40 placement. Currently peaks at #45.

Crazy would've thought it was already a top 40 hit

It would be if Christmas songs were allowed SCR.

Aha! Thanks for the explanation.

I guess Christmas songs are released early now due to streaming impetus before December?

Olivia’s had quite a few songs drop out from high up the chart completely when going on acr, it happened to drop dead, get him back, Déjà vu and drivers licence from memory and probably a few more. I wonder if any artist has had more songs be starred out? I’m sure Drake will have a few as he often has one debut high week one and get replaced by another the following week

Taylor Swift probably wins this given all the tracks from TTPD + THE ANTHOLOGY, The Life of A Showgirl (+ Encore), Midnights (+ 3am + Til Dawn), folklore and evermore would've charted plus a bunch from Red (T.V.) and Lover were it not for the three-tracks/artist rule

Justin Bieber's Mistletoe charted the week ending 29/10/2011. It spent four weeks in the top 100, three weeks outside and returned for a further four weeks come Christmas.

It doesn't get really Xmassy until after Thanksgiving and is all but over on 26 Dec, UK has a far longer Christmas period IMO.
