sorry :teresa:

but i just had to reply to that ;) :P

That's why i didnt want Leona to go to number one. Because Simon has the ability to manipulate with people's minds and make them buy c**p music nevermind to believe its good.

Hes got you hypnotised. :o

Going back to topic, we still dont know COMBINED sales figures.

 Take Thats song is quite good though, it's just that Leona's is better and that it's a shame she has Simon behind her.

that is the combined figure...
There's some missing data and the figures are not accurate :D

Leona's song IS average and without Simon at her side, there's no way she'd be even top-5, trust me.

There is missing data? Where from? Unless it is the majority of retailers or itunes in its entirety, TT will still be behind.

And as for the 'better' song, people have differing opinions on what is better.

As i said before the sales of the Leona track prove the success and power of the X-Factor rather than the greatness of the song - Will be interesting to see how her future singles perform with no X-Factor performance, Download gimmick or chart battle

Back on topic....My predictions:

1. Leona

2. Take That

3. McFly

4. Sugababes

5. Britney

Most sngles have some gimmick or other these days - Leona with the X Factor, TT with the Stardust film...

There is no huge difference there, imo!

Missing data from HMV (Where Take That have been #1 since Saturday due to it being released early on the site :P ), Tesco Downloads and Napster.

Hmmm, that will bump them up a bit, but I still think Leona will be well ahead.

hey Mikey any updates of hoosiers, mika, enrique, mcr - mama and shayne ward thankya.

Hoosiers & Mika & Shayne Ward Top 15

Enrique Top 50

And nothing for MCR

I've changed my mind on the situation

Good luck Leona - Britney's had her time :(

I hate saying it, but ohwell Slave 4 U didnt chart higher than 4, and thats one of her best songs

She'll have other times, i.e. Radar, Piece of Me

So good luck Leona

I will be buying the single :D

And it would have been interesting to see how well "Rule The World" would have done without the Stardust film. That helped them just like X-Factor helped Leona.

Simon doesn't have the ability to make people just buy records - look at Steve Brookstein.

It's down to the individual whether they make the purchase or not and people often buy a song because they want to listen to it - not because someone won a tv show.

 The Stardust film has been a relative flop and the song is not played anywhere during the film - It only starts getting played at almost the end of the credits so i think it has had very little impact tbh :P

There is missing data EVERY week, they never effect the midweeks too much - it certainly won't do much when Leona has a 40k lead
I'm just so happy for Leona. She's worked so hard to get where she is and now she's reeping the benefits :cheer:

So that might shorten the deficit by about 1-2k. Face it, they are going to be nowehere NEAR the top.
