Obviously, we'd have to wait and see how RTW sales hold up over the coming weeks though
October 23, 200718 yr :lol: The Stardust film has been a relative flop and the song is not played anywhere during the film - It only starts getting played at almost the end of the credits so i think it has had very little impact tbh :P Everytime the advert is played for the film on TV, the song is played. Put that on top of their Jonathan Ross performance which was a few million as well. Sorry but it's annoying when you can't just accept that while the song isn't to your taste, it's not just doing well because of her X-Factor performance. The song had to be good in the first place so people would want to buy it.

It's down to the individual whether they make the purchase or not and people often buy a song because they want to listen to it - not because someone won a tv show. Very Good Point!. Same with Michelle McManus.

I bet right now Louis Walsh & Simon Cowell are working out whether they are better off releasing Westlife's Home next week as planned or delay it a week when they risk being humiliated by the comeback Spice Girls Children In Need single on downloads alone. :lol:

They've got 10 number ones behind them .... she's got her whole career ahead of her. The guys themselves love Leona - she has a good voice - give her her moment for heavens sake. She did well (as a Take That fan - I'd rather RTW had have got to number one but it ain't gonna happen). As it is it'll probably sell more than any of their last three singles combined which for a number two ain't bad at all. Besides ... their deluxe album Beautiful World will more than make up for it. I reluctantly throw in the towel to Leona - I don't like the song but have a grudging liking for her voice! If she can do this much damage with what I believe to be an 'average' song ... just think what damage she could do with a good one! Kathy
