When was the last time a dance song went top 5 that wasn't Basshunter, or a pop track (Rihanna) or a "fluke" (Mint Royale)? glad more people are taking to this album than his 2000 hits album, 2008 has really been a stellar year for commercial dance artist albums in the charts! I never thought I'd see the day But on singles its been awful for dance :( . I would've expected Sash to be in the top 10 though. Top 5 on a "normal" week.

Norma A bad performance on X-Factor can scupper your chances, I reckon. I thought Leon had a good chance of getting to number one, as the song is very Philly Soul-like, and would have broad appeal to an older age group had he been able to put it across well. But Leon was such an idiot on the programme, he blew his chances against Pink and even an over-rated comedian with a joke song. All the talk afterwards was 'did you see that idiot on the X Factor, was he p***ed/stoned/sleep deprived/plain stupid or what??! As the man said : "That used to be one of my favourite songs. Not any more." <_<
October 22, 200817 yr Infinity now at 2 and 38 on I Tunes - Looks like this could be top 3 come Sunday - Seems as though it has come from nowhere!!!! I'm really surprised by this, and disappointed as it no longer features the voice of the Guru sounding as though he is picking up a particularly hot plate without oven gloves.

(Vocally) Well, Cheryl was really poor, but when you have a pair of devil's eyes drilling into you, seething with jealousy and resentment from the judging desk, I suppose it's enough to put anyone off... :D The others were fine. And they were able to give a coherent interview afterwards, which is more than Leon did. :rolleyes: Shame, cause I like Leon's song, I just don't like Leon.

Basically, its a good song with lots of tv and radio airplay and thats the main reason why its no.1, the girls profile (mainly thanks to X Factor) is bigger than ever so even more people know about them and their songs, this is the reason the track has sold 36.5k in 3 days.
