October 23, 200817 yr I wish we had some sales info, it would make it a lot more interesting ! Though I won't complain, GA being a sure safe #1 by the end of the week is fine !! :P
October 23, 200817 yr Author Seems GA did 12k on Tuesday, I'm assuming they have done at least another 10k yesterday at a guess, taking their total to 46k, that's based as a guess.
October 23, 200817 yr Great for girls aloud again but im disappointed keane ar3e now out of the top 5 albums
October 23, 200817 yr ooh, its gone quiet today  tumbleweed http://weblogs.variety.com/photos/uncategorized/2007/05/23/tumbleweed.jpg Looks like a humungous bit of hair
October 23, 200817 yr Sales should be strong for GA on saturday after the johnathan ross show on friday night so i think they will do a minimum of 65k this week.
October 23, 200817 yr Sugarbabes are doing quite poorly especially considering the £6.00 price in Asda. Album sales seem to be suffering in general. Maybe the effect of the recession now hitting people's pay packets? What a ridiculous excuse. Why would the recession ONLY be affecting would-be Sugababes fans? It's a very interesting economic theory, perhaps you should alert Gordon Brown? The album's doing poorly, because they lead with a poor, uninspired rip-off of a single. And this is coming from someone who has usually LOVED the Sugababes.

I too am a fan of the Sugababes, but you are quite right with this.

Whilst i like the song, it isn't lead single material.
October 23, 200817 yr Catfights and Spotlights a lowly #8 -cries-, I thought it would get top 5 at least, big shame.
October 23, 200817 yr Sugababes at #8 is just a crime - it's a really really great album and has some of their best songs in years... but, it serves them right for releaseing that pile of $h!te 'Girls'. What on earth were they thinking!!! A decent 2nd single should help (but if the rather bland 'No Can Do' then i might lose all faith in their record company ;) ) The only aspect of this chart i'm happy about is the stampede of MJ tracks :w00t: (but i hate that the X factor has such control over the charts so it's a bit hit and miss for me)
October 23, 200817 yr GA for today 45.9k, :cheer: And I was not that far off with my guess :D great news!
October 23, 200817 yr I hope John Legend can stay in the top 40, I didn't expect it to climb after the physical release. :o
October 23, 200817 yr Sarah Palin's reaction over GA's #1: http://cdn.buzznet.com/media-cdn/jj1/headlines/2008/10/sarah-palin-raises-the-roof.gif  :heehee: :P
October 23, 200817 yr I think 70k for Girls Aloud by Sunday for #1, although we need midweek data tomorrow to make a better judgement to see if their sales are decreasing by 2k a day as Tuesday - Wednesday shows, if that pattern continues then it will be more like 65k.

I reckon another 8k for today, and another 8k tomorow, they are performing on Jonathan Ross show tomorrow night, that should boost their Saturdays sales, might just clear 75K+
October 23, 200817 yr Thanks for the updates and popularity bars.. Any info on the sales, by any chance? I checked the singles but can't see album ones. Top 10 or 5 would be mighty fine. Thanks in advance.
