Thank you ;)

Seeing as it's still rising on iTunes (even if really slow :(), hopefully that means it'll stay top 40 until Sunday

Where has John Legend moved since yesterday? I hope he can hang on to the top 40.

ICE COVERS THE EARTH: AC/DC’s Black Ice is more than a stateside phenomenon. The album is exploding at retail all over the world, with an initial shipment of more than 2.1 milllion. The biggest territories are Germany (550k), Canada (344k), the U.K. (227k), France (209k) and the band’s native Australia (202k). What’s more, the European and North American legs of the “Black Ice World Tour” reportedly sold out in a matter of minutes, while worldwide catalog sales on the year are a split hair short of 5 million units. So it appears that rock is alive and well on a global basis. (HDD)

I just like to round off, to say thank you to everyone who have contirbuted to the mid thread this week, after a hectic week, next week it shall be another hectic week, especially in the albums chart with Pink, Snow Patrol, Bloc Party, Saturdays, Anastacia, Celine Dion all releasing new albums.

Don't forget to join us in the Sunday Chart show thread from 4pm.

And on a final note Girls Aloud are performing on Jonathan's Ross show tonight, sometime after 10:30pm.

WOW! 55k :o thats 7.5k more than Duffy sold this time in her run :o
Girls Aloud did a brilliant performance on the jonathon ross show tonight so that should help sales again for them,,they should easily pass the 70k mark by the end of tomorrows sales i really hope they can out do duffys first week sales

Can I just ask - what happened with the sales figures?

I know you said someone played with the numbers, but can someone please have a look in other places and see if we can get some guestimates?

Mucho appreciated. Thank you.

No way. It will be looky to clear about 33k.
