Is it though? Barely getting any airplay on Radio 1 or 2 and they're major sales drivers. The record company made a load of mistakes with the release - video came out way too soon (7 weeks ago), single was sent to independent radio at least a month before it should have been (3 months ago) etc so it's been released after interest has peaked and airplay has started falling.

 

Couple that will the lost sales two weeks ago when it was released on 7Digital for a day, the late release on iTunes and the non-release on PlayDigital and it's all a bit bizarre the incompetence of it all.

 

But of course the biggest problems are the quality of the song (which is merely ok) and the 7 month incubation period since the USA release which means every Leona fan had had a HQ copy for months.

Yeah BIT was #8 in the first set of mids. Leona will rise as the week progresses, hopefully into top 5. It's not a make or break song though and the label aren't that bothered where it charts otherwise she'd have been on XF last Saturday.

'Run' will more than likely chart, but it won't be a single release. People will be available to download it from the deulxe version of her album by cherry picking ^_^ It will probably go Top 20 but I think that's all it will do :( Although it's a sublime song, Original & her cover. It deserves to do very well!

Utter madness. Honestly someone is trying to screw her career up in the UK.

I really hope that Red Light Company can make the Top 75 - they deserve far more to chart than the View and their insipid comeback single that managed that particular feat last week.

WOO!!! Fir Girls Aloud!! Sales for both Single and Album are high and with the live cd charting this week as well, it looks certain they could have 4 albums in the top 100.

Well Girls Aloud deserve a long-over due number 1 album (ignoring the greatest hits)!

 

And Razorlight deserve to be beaten for making lazy, boring songs when they initially had a lot of potential.

 

Anyway, indie will be sorting pop out in a couple of weeks thanks to The Killers!

Will's tour kicks off the next day though, so last Saturday was probably the only available date for him to perform this series.

I dont think BMG or Simon will mind if "Forgive Me" dosent get Number One or even enter the top ten , she has had so much sucsess with the album that really they are thinking about the next album they honestly really didnt have to realise this as a single.

 

Leona will get Number 6 i think , Girls Aloud will fall to Number 3 with Beyonce at Number 2 and Britney at 4.
