November 4, 200817 yr People who are saying GA are doing well just because of x factor is just rediculous!!! Most people think the new songs is aces and the fact that it is selling well consistently means that it actually is because of the song!!! Well done to them for the album and also the fact the song looks set to clear 200k this week after just three weeks on the chart.
November 4, 200817 yr I agree, but all i am saying is you cant continually refer back to old sales when the market was different. Look at the all saints. Their new success was nothing like their old stuff and the record label took this onboard. Ahhh yes I see what you mean now.
November 4, 200817 yr Record labels dont look at old album sales, they look at what the artist is selling now. Surely thats obvious? You cant release new albums and lose/make little money and say ohhhhh its ok, one of their old albums sold over a million so it doesnt matter. I wasnt stating that actually. It was in reference to the comment "A NUMBER OF THEIR have been dodgy though". Which is clearly not the case
November 4, 200817 yr Looks like another X Factor #1 -_- Well done to all the females :kink: Very well done to GA on #1 album :cheer:
November 4, 200817 yr Author Saturdays are at #12 with "Up" selling approx 7000 copies. That info from KevKev at the Saturdays forum. Edit - "The Loving Kind" is at #144 on the singles chart for you crazy Girls Aloud fans... :P Thanks for the added info I'm surprised there is a lot of GA fans on here  they keep me on my toes, they are just too quick for me -_-
November 4, 200817 yr Author Also nobody has asked where Pink is in the singles chart, she is actually down 5 :o
November 4, 200817 yr I really hope this becomes Girls Aloud's first #1 album! :o I can't believe how low Leona is!
November 4, 200817 yr I was gonna ask about P!nk cos I only just got here  Better than I thought though, I thought she'd slide out of the top 10 this week with all the competition and she still might. Glad the albums holding up thought. Shame for Anastacia, but like with Sugababes-it seems you really do need a decent lead single these days.
November 4, 200817 yr I really hope this becomes Girls Aloud's first #1 album! :o I can't believe how low Leona is! Didn't the GH get to no.1?
November 4, 200817 yr Didn't Pink sell around 35K last week? I doubt she'll fall out of the Top 10 with even a modest (20%) decline in sales for "So What". Otherwise the #10 would be selling more than 28K (which is massive)!!
November 4, 200817 yr ya girls aloud greatest hits went to number 1 ,outta control if it holds on would be their first studio number 1 album
November 4, 200817 yr Just to point out, tangled up was no2 in first day mids but fell to no4 by sunday last year so its not in the bag. I think they will just do it.
November 4, 200817 yr i can't see Girls Aloud holding out at number 1- that number sold so far would have included all the pre-orders. I think Pink will do it for a second week.
November 4, 200817 yr :w00t: Fantastic for GA! This will be their first Number 1 studio album won't it? (Not including Greatest Hits) And  Razorlight only 3rd! I thought they'd be 2nd and only a thousand sales behind GA or something! Girls Aloud have already sold more than The Saturdays and Sugababes albums  Great for Britney at 4... It really is a battle for Number 2 :w00t:
November 4, 200817 yr 10 Will Young reborn??? wakaka...so unpredictable...maybe the others are dropping indeedXDD he may drop again soon...
