November 4, 200817 yr Could you tell me where Grace Jones is on albums please? Edited November 4, 200817 yr by TomKay
November 4, 200817 yr Didn't Pink sell around 35K last week? I doubt she'll fall out of the Top 10 with even a modest (20%) decline in sales for "So What". Otherwise the #10 would be selling more than 28K (which is massive)!! I know but theres so many big releases this week I think sales could be that high! I expect at least Leona will take P!nk and perhaps Alesha and Christina laster on. Edited November 4, 200817 yr by T Boy
November 4, 200817 yr Any info on The Script please Mart!n ^_^ I WISH Breakeven would break the Top 40
November 4, 200817 yr Why is that c**p #1 still? -_- Leona, I'm not surprised to an extent. The song is not her. It's too American, rather forgettable and someone with her talent is wasted on a song like that. I'm not saying she has to sing big ballads all the time, but why not an up-tempo that could be in the vein of "I wanna dance with somebody"? Congrats to Will Young :) The Saturdays, #11 is rather ecnouraging for a debut album. I mean GA, they could record their sex sessions and still get to #1 as they are very popular, and I think popularity holds the key. Sugababes, a bad choice of lead single from the album? November 4, 200817 yr i can't see Girls Aloud holding out at number 1- that number sold so far would have included all the pre-orders. I think Pink will do it for a second week. Dont forget pink's had sunday sales too though :P
November 4, 200817 yr Any info on The Script please Mart!n ^_^ I WISH Breakeven would break the Top 40   We only have top 38 and they arent top 38 with 'breakeven'? 'Man who cant be moved' is 30+7

November 4, 200817 yr Saturdays are at #12 with "Up" selling approx 7000 copies. That info from KevKev at the Saturdays forum. Edit - "The Loving Kind" is at #144 on the singles chart for you crazy Girls Aloud fans... :P 7,000 for No.12 :o so by the end of the week it will be about 20,000...for No.12...or rather 13 because Leona will climb above them :o I can still remember one week in 2005 where Kylie sold 7k to get to No.3 based on the entire week's sales
November 4, 200817 yr I think the X Factor will be #1 for about 6 weeks Oh no, destroy that crystal ball
November 4, 200817 yr I think the X Factor will be #1 for about 6 weeks it's already off No.1 on iTunes and physicals will soon start dropping, I give it 4 weeks max...I still think The Killers will make it with Human or even T.I and Rihanna
November 4, 200817 yr Who would have thought a cover of hero would be the bleeding love of 2008. Edited November 4, 200817 yr by Robintime11

Then again, it wasn't until Orson got to #1 with "No Tomorrow" that we actually had a #1 selling less than 18,000 copies. :( 7000 is close to what the Saturdays were selling on the Tuesday midweek flash in week 1, their sales have held 'up' (:P) surprisingly well really for a pop song, but the market has become ever more competitive forcing them slowly down the chart.
