Super Bass - the only song by Nicki Minaj I like (excluding Where Them Girls At). I think it sounds a bit more Pop like than her other singles, and that's probably why its her highest single.

It is not her best single (Amazing is my favourite from her), but any longevity for Inna is a good thing.

I oprefer Amazing too

And she should re-release 10 Minutes, maybe this time it gets some promo and airplay, so it can chart in the top 40.

Only #19 for Superbass. At least she has her first top 20 :w00t:, want this to go top 10 at some stage though!

Surely "Check It Out" was her first Top 20?

Inna should have released "Love". A bit sad that Alexandra Stan has outpeaked her.

Love is her next single. Not likely to do much.

Glee Vol. 6 is #6 then - continuing the 'peaking at the volume number' thing that Vol. 5 messed up by peaking at #4 then. At least that means we'll hopefully never see Glee top 5 again though.

On the floor still to come :o

Mr Saxobeat is far catchier than Sun Is Up. I can't see Alexandra Stan having much more chart success after Mr. Saxobeat unless she brings out something amazing.

Just noticed Wonderland are #8 on the album chart! :o

Was not expecting that at all.

Why is it sad? It's good to see a new European artist having chart success. Love is apparently the next single, but it won't do anything, they should switch it for Un Momento.

So glad the arctics are no.1. I really like the album and they've always had a unique sound even when they change their style slightly (Humbug). Would be good to hear them more in the singles chart but its inlikely that'll ever happen.
Paramore missed the top 20 :( :o to think this looked like it was going top 10 on monday

that said, on first listen, this isn't great for them :( not a touch on Misery Business, Ignorance and The Only Exception

YOU WHAT. Monster >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The Only Exception, they've done far better ballads.

Surely "Check It Out" was her first Top 20?

But she was a featured artist. I mean her first lead top 20 hit. In that case, it could be argued that BedRock was the first. Super Bass is her first proper top 20 as the lead artist.

The Nicki Minaj song - sounds really disjointed and broken up for at least the first 30 seconds. I presume there are words in the original edit that have to be blanked out for mainstream Radio play?
I think On The Floor is actually one of my favourite songs this year, I know it's one of my most played, still loving it

I actually thought their single might re-enter the top 40 this week, but clearly it didn't. :( It must be close though.

Yeah, I think some of the lyrics are sexually explicit (or too much so for radio anyway).

Has Check It Out featured on a will.i.am solo album? Why is he lead artist when it appears on Nicki's album?

Agreed, still my favourite too, it still so catchy and is imo the best example of what most people would call the generic music of this year
