This had potential to be MASSIVE, but instead its only been a reasonably big hit. On Air/On Sale is really ruining the songs chances :(

Even if Sexy Bitch didn't exist this would still be earrape

Judas has eventually held up pretty well here, maybe because radio and TV stations over here aren't so conservative (with a small C).

 

It's doing okay but considering it's only the second single (released before the album) and the hype it got, plus the fact it's actually a pretty good song and has a great video, oh and the fact it's Lady Gaga i'm very suprised that it "only" got to #8 and is having an average chart run. It's soooo much better than Born This Way, imo, it's unbelievable.

TEOG is still quite similar to the GaGa songs (Poker Face, Bad Romance etc.) that you dismiss as sounding the same, so you're bound to think it's generic :lol:

Although I don't think anything in this chart is quite as generic as Poker Face. But at least when Poker Face came out there was only like 10 generic songs in the chart, rather than 30. :lol:

I don't really understand why people are calling BOMD a flop already, it still has weeks before it's officialy released and she hasn't done any promo yet! You can't compare it to Nadine who's song had been out for weeks and already did The Paul O'Grady Show and Daybreak.

 

It's because so many OA/OS songs have failed to repeak despite a boost in promotion - for every "Judas", you have "Rope" and many others, so people are assuming this week will be its peak.

Nice entry for Katy B, very good for a 4th single.

I don't care that this sounds like Sexy Bitch to be honest. That song was brilliant so I can't complain if he makes another very similar one. It's still my favourite song in the chart!

 

Now onto my least favourite Katy B song.

they seriously need to get the video for this out, otherwise, by Guetta's standards and considering all the hype, this has really flopped

Too late for Video, they should of taken their time by the time the video comes out, the song would of left the Top 40

Easy Please Me! This song has grown on me so much after hearing it on radio 1! Oddly the first time I heard this song was when her album had just came out and they were playing it in the cd's aisle in tesco :P

Hope this can become a 5th top 20 for Katy next week. Although it's been shoved down to #22 on iTunes due to the 3 new entries so maybe not. It's done better than I expected it to anyway. It's probably her worst single to date but still pretty good.

 

Surprised we haven't heard Someone Like You yet, it was low top 30 most of the week on iTunes with a bit of a resurgence yesterday.

Realllllly? I'd say "Give Me Everything" was infinitely more generic.. and "Poker Face" half-created its particular niche at least.

This and 'Broken Record' are actually ace, I'm amazed the same girl who can release 'Katy On A Mission' can release these two songs.

 

I never thought I'd say this, but I may check out the album.

This song was produced by Magnetic Man apparently, if anybody is wondering why the instrumental is so good! :D It's nice to hear sounds we don't normally hear in the chart.
