July 31, 201115 yr I can't believe how well The Lazy Song has done. I'm sure it wouldn't have done nearly as well if it didn't have the weird video, the massive airplay and the fact it's Bruno Mars. If someone else had to release this they'd be slated and the song wouldn't even dent the top 20, imo. Actually, I know a lot of people who like the song anyway and they didn't even like things like Grenade. And your point of the video and airplay isn't really valid because that's how most songs get promoted these days. People on this forum seem to hate anything Bruno does because he's Bruno. I someone else had done this, particularly any female artist it'd be lapped up around here. To call it a non-no.1 is completely laughable. Get some perspective people.
