I'm sorry, I know it's for a good cause and everything, but this song is really maudlin and over-sentimental. It's not even Christmassy. If you want choir + Christmas + charity, you should really download the song in my link :kink:
Oh GOD, they're going to play the Military Wives thing aren't they.

Yes, I'm not pleased at the moment.

Eh, still better than Little Mix. Still don't want a gimmick #1 though

HINT HINT

whilst the lyrics are probably the most over-sentimental I've ever heard, I for one think its harmless enough and for a good cause, a Christmas number 1 with no influence from X Factor of a Facebook campaign is fine by me :D

The production is imo, it sounds wintery at least, well in the same way that Spice Girls' 2 Become 1 and Goodbye did. It doesn't directly reference xmas but it wouldn't sound right coming out in the summer at the same time.

I know I'm going completely against the grain of seemingly the ENTIRE forum with my opinon on this song but I genuinely love it musically, I've played it 25 times in the past week and that's massive for me, I usually play my personal chart #1 only 5 or 6 times a week sometimes...

Onto it now :D

This is a strange one, this seemed to come out of nowhere and show promise of being a big hit, and then just never took off. Bored of Derulo myself anyway.

Marry the Night should have done better, its just as good as Born this Way and both are the best things about the album. Surprisingly her chart places are very representative of the quality of her music except for MTN. 2 years without a UK number one. I don't see her getting one next year either

*70 Susan Boyles with all the vocal talent taken away.

I'm never tired of Marry the night.

Flop Ga in this case. So much for her saying Born This Way would change music etc. The best thing is Edge of Glory BY FAR and if the whole album had that inventiveness and direction then I would imagine she would have lived up to the hype.
