December 29, 201114 yr Wow Ed #1 album :o What a way to end the year for him! Coldplay #1 with Paradise! :D :D I wonder if they may do the double come Sunday.. Edited December 29, 201114 yr by Karma
December 29, 201114 yr While I am disappointed that the Military Wives Choir has dropped from Number One, "Paradise" is a pretty good replacement.
December 29, 201114 yr Very happy to see Beyoncé at #13 in the midweeks, I just wish "Love on Top" would climb, and stop sitting at #23 each week. -_-
December 29, 201114 yr These 14 albums have all fallen from the top 40. Gift for Mum alert! Take That Il Divo Susan Boyle Alfie Boe Michael Buble Andrea Bocelli Andre Rieu Bee Gees Justin Bieber Rod Stewart Joe McElderry Adele Frank Sinatra Seal Impressive that Nicki Minaj, Pink, The Vaccines and Nero are in the top 40 from outside the top 100. Must be cheap.
December 29, 201114 yr Rizzle Kicks two songs top 40? :o I'm assuming the second one is 'Down With The Trumpets' but I can't remember it being that much of a hit that it would get such a gift card boost. Suprised at 'Lightning' returning as well. And just WOW @ Olly. DWMT back to #2, HSAB top 20, the album top three......:o
December 29, 201114 yr Author Also great to see Katy Perry re-enter the albums top 40. Could I have the positions of both of their current singles please? Beyonce non mover Katy Perry 21
December 29, 201114 yr Have Jls - Do You Feel What I Feel missed the top 40 mids in it's release week :o
December 29, 201114 yr Pity MW arent no1, it makes the chart look ridiculous when a single that sells 560k one week drops from no1 a week later!! Great to see that the no29/30 single has already sold 12k copies :o That means LMFAO at no19 has already sold around 20k!!!!!There could be 3 million-sellers this year then, great news!!!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
December 29, 201114 yr Wow, Military Wives' physicals must have truly collapsed for them to be behind not only Coldplay but also Olly - I don't think it's over yet since the shops were closed on Sunday and Monday but this is a good sign that Coldplay could actually get #1 (and that the Wives could indeed stay well away from the year end top 10 and not become a million seller)! Fantastic to see Good Feeling and We Found Love climbing, Lego House and Earthquake back in the top 10, Heart Skips A Beat back top 15, The A Team and Jar Of Hearts back top 20, Someone Like You back top 30 and Set Fire To The Rain, Party All Night (Sleep All Day) and When I Was A Youngster (or is it DWTT?) back top 40 due to the gift card effect :cheer: And ofc great to see Maroon 5 NOT back top 10 due to it which I thought was inevitable :P Not too happy about the climbs for What Makes You Beautiful, Party Rock Anthem, Read All About It and Lightning though. Not bothered about the rest. Aside from the gift card effect, very pleased to see Mama Do The Hump top 10 and Up top 40 :D An Ed Sheeran/Coldplay/Olly top 3 albums would be great - Coldplay getting the #1 (and the double) would be ideal but I don't think Mylo Xyloto is in the HMV offer (?) while Ed is so I suspect they'll be some way off the #1. Surprised to see '21' actually falling! Also surprised to see Bublé as high as #10 but I think he'll fall over the week. Other climbing albums I approve of: Example, Drake, Chase & Status, Matt Cardle (because he doesn't deserve to flop THAT badly), The Vaccines, Nero :D Does anyone have a list of the albums in the chart that are in the HMV sale? December 29, 201114 yr So happy Coldplay are number 1  Hopefully being back to 99p on itunes won't affect it too much over the weekend

December 29, 201114 yr wow, great to see Coldplay number 1 :D I'm still not getting my hopes up, but that's certainly encouraging that they are ahead at this stage!
December 29, 201114 yr So happy Coldplay are number 1  Hopefully being back to 99p on itunes won't affect it too much over the weekend So now It's 99? that's Y it's falling hard? I wish it wont hurt them!! this could be close :(
December 29, 201114 yr Author Have Jls - Do You Feel What I Feel missed the top 40 mids in it's release week :o Not top 40, they probably show up on tomorrow's update or over the weekend. Its been released on downloads for the past few weeks
December 29, 201114 yr I hate all of these post Christmas returns... Maroon 5, LMFAO, Ed Sheeran, One Direction, Christina Perri and especially this utter rubbish by Flo Rida should have all been dead by now when it comes to singles. The only positive note is Coldplay's number one hit although I wouldn't mind having The Military Wives atop again (even though I love one week-long charttoppers). In albums I'm positively surprised by Ed Sheeran's rise to the top (I didn't see him on HMV offer to be honest). I don't particularly like the guy but if he manages to shift enough copies of his + album, it might stand a tiny chance of surpassing Gaga in the year-end chart (wishful thinking...). He must sell a whole lot to manage that. The task will be easier for Jessie J's Who You Are that is already going in the right direction being Top 10 at the moment while Born This Way is sitting 3 places lower. I fear she fails to accomplish this yearly number 7 by a couple of hundreds though.
December 29, 201114 yr Have Jls - Do You Feel What I Feel missed the top 40 mids in it's release week :o No, because it's released next week. Noel rising not as much I'd like but it's lovely (although not entirely surprising) to see Kasabian vaulting up into the top 15. Not surprised to see The Vaccines up again, that album seems to take any opportunity to go back lower top 40. Is a shock to see Nero though, especially since there's other 2011 #1 albums which I've seen discounted and thought would be popular which aren't there. Foo Fighters, namely.
December 29, 201114 yr Ed Sheeran at #1 in the album chart, didn't see that one coming. I'm quite pleased with both charts actually, with all the Christmas rubbish dropping and even Military Wives falling to #3, there's nothing for me to hate. I am shocked to see Christina Perri and Ed Sheeran back in the top 20 though with their respective hits, just as The Wanted's 'Lightning' and Rizzle Kicks' 'When I Was a Youngster' - hopefully the former will fall to around #25-30 and the latter will climb to just outside the top 40; we don't want too many 'flop' hits returning to the chart now.
December 29, 201114 yr Wow, Jessie J could be in the top 40 four times this week with Who You Are, Up, Domino (if it climbs in, it's 23 on itunes ATM) and Price Tag (if it holds on) though I have a feeling she may end up replacing herself.
