[insert :wub:s for Paradise]

15th week in the top 20 :cheer:

No album chart yet? Unusual. They normally do it after #21.

I think he will do the albums countdown after or before announcing the position of Video Games?
This is possibly my favourite (or least hated) Coldplay song. Although the only ones I remember (at least from the titles) from before this album are Speed of Sound, Clocks and Viva La Vida, so I haven't exactly heard much of their discography to make a judgement.

"Parachutes" era, anyone?

I feel like the only one who doesn't like Paradise.

You do tend to like things most people don't like (and vice versa)

Yeah, probably. A lot of people I know in real life who never listen to alternative/rock music (so basically everybody I know in real life ) even seem to like Paradise.

You're not wrong there.

They will probably do it when 'Video Games' charts, which I suspect will be next.

When was the last time that the biggest climber in the top 40 was also the longest-runner?
Counting songs that debuted at their peak, fell down then climbed back as climbers, every song in the top 40 so far has climbed to its peak except 'Get Out My Head', 'Troublemaker', 'Turn Me On' and 'One Thing' (and the latter two will surely repeak in the near future - One Thing could be classed as a climber if you count its previous week in the top 200 anyway).

I'm not sure. Maybe the week Someone Like You had that massive climb?

I feel like the only one who doesn't like Paradise.

I don't like Paradise, it's too overplayed and has become boring to me now, although I was never overly keen on it. Probably my least favourite thing from Mylo Xyloto

WOW, thank god this is plummeting, would have been bad if this had become their biggest hit seeing as its SHM worst single so far by a mile.

And Trouble. Back then Coldplay's middle of the road, depressing sound was overshadowed by David Gray's middle of the road depressing sound. Those were the days
