February 5, 201214 yr Author And Trouble. Back then Coldplay's middle of the road, depressing sound was overshadowed by David Gray's middle of the road depressing sound. Those were the days  I love both of them

February 5, 201214 yr 04-06-18 - ouch! To be fair, as an EP-boosted track, it was always going to experience a big drop, I just expected it to be 04-10-18 last week. I imagine Alyssa Reid will make a similar drop in a few weeks time, once the multiple versions begin to fade.
February 5, 201214 yr WOW, thank god this is plummeting, would have been bad if this had become their biggest hit seeing as its SHM worst single so far by a mile. THIS.
February 5, 201214 yr Counting songs that debuted at their peak, fell down then climbed back as climbers, every song in the top 40 so far has climbed to its peak except 'Get Out My Head', 'Troublemaker', 'Turn Me On' and 'One Thing' (and the latter two will surely repeak in the near future - One Thing could be classed as a climber if you count its previous week in the top 200 anyway). Yeah, people make it out to be a lot worse than it really is tbh. I think the Moves Like Jagger situation really scared people last year. And how people talk about a song cilmbing to its peak as if it's impressive, but most songs seem to do that now, so I don't really think it's that big a deal anymore. And sometimes even songs that debut at their peak still have good chart runs and sales, like Video Games, What Makes You Beautiful, Heart Skips a Beat, etc.
February 5, 201214 yr I don't like Paradise, it's too overplayed and has become boring to me now, although I was never overly keen on it. Probably my least favourite thing from Mylo Xyloto My least favourite on Mylo Xyloto (by far) is U.F.O. I'm a massive loon of Coldplay and adore everything else on the album but U.F.O. is a total non-event of a song, I don't even remember how it goes. Nice to see Video Games climbing again, this has had a brilliant chart run so far - no album chart to tie in with it though, maybe they'll do it before Born To Die instead. February 5, 201214 yr This song just seems ancient now, not because it sounds overplayed or anything, it just feels like ages ago it was released but I still love it actually.
February 5, 201214 yr Forgot about ole' Olly Murs. Wonder how single #3 from the album will fare, it's rumoured to be 'Oh My Goodness' - which is more a ballad than anything; R1 will most definitely pick it up - he's got too many connections inside.
February 5, 201214 yr My least favourite on Mylo Xyloto (by far) is U.F.O. I'm a massive loon of Coldplay and adore everything else on the album but U.F.O. is a total non-event of a song, I don't even remember how it goes. I don't mind U.F.O., it's not a song I'm desperate to listen to but it's pleasant enough. Undeniably, the best songs on MX are Princess Of China and Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall - can't wait 'til the Brits when POC becomes huuuuuuuuuge.

February 5, 201214 yr 'Drunk'   This seems to have stalled on iTunes, I really hope it doesn't end up missing the top 10... :(
February 5, 201214 yr Unsure whether this'll crack the top 10. The 'hype' of the music video has already began to drop (i.e. on social networking sites) and radio airplay can only improve so much. Hoping to see it peak at #6 though - to keep a 03-04-05 streak going. 4 top 15 peaking tracks from a debut album is still something to be pretty smug about.
February 5, 201214 yr I know its nit-picking, but why is Drunk third in his discography, instead of Lego House? It ruins the fact that his first singles went 3,4,5 with a 15 plonked in the middle?
