Wow if Led Zep really are at #2 and coming for rather impressive sales. Has there been any precedent to this that I missed? It seems to just be some live album? It's only #21 on iTunes as well, although with it being certified gold already it's obviously going to be a far stronger physical seller. If only it was a certain other live album out this week at #2 :P

We had loads on pre-order at work and they have released 4 different versions [standard, 1 CD & DVD, 2 CD & DVD, and CD & BluRay], Most copies that iv sold has been to people buying 2 different formats also it seems to be helping the Coldplay CD as people picking up the Zepplin release are also getting Coldplay too.

There is also a few comments about Susan Boyle on here and the album is really going to underperform this week as they have not promoted it well enough to her fanbase - Somebody came in and bought one of her older albums earlier and I mentioned that her new album was out which they bought but had no idea about - I think she has only performed on CIN which is clearly not enough.

Cannot see Labrinth doing much more than 60k, which could mean:

Olly 130k

GA, 1D 70k

Not that great sales after all (if we bar out Labrinth of course)

Olly and GA have sold 60k and 39k respectively in just two days, they're going to do a lot more than those estimates.

Yes I saw that, and changed my estimations...

I still do not think they will do more than 140k and 70k respectively though. (supposing this 40/20k is the headstart they had over the *2 /*1 of Labrinth's popularity throughout the week)

I think Girls Aloud will do 85k-90k max. To be honest, Little Mix only did 72k with a 35k midweek debut, so I wouldn't rule out the fact that Girls Aloud might not sell that much afterall.

Olly should do a bit less than 100-110k, I suppose. Maybe 115k actually, but I doubt it.

GA will be heavily front loaded as the pre-orders for the EP would have been big given it was the only thing to download after the CIN performance. Plus they are probably still one of the few acts to sell a pre-order of thousands of the CD and 7inch. They are also a big 'fanbase' act so all the loons would have been out multiple downloading their copies Sunday night/Monday morning.

Around 75 to 80k max I reckon.

So rihanna will only sell around 80k - thought she wouldnt get near the 160k she got last year!!

She had an X Factor performance the day of her album release last year.

She has one on this Sunday too I think! Obviously means nothing for her first week sales, but it should mean it won't have like a 50% sales drop on her second week.

Great sales for Olly Murs, Girls aloud decent too. Olly looks set to have a third very successful album, he is showing no signs of waining so he truly is one of the most successful x factor acts ever.

Loud was only huge in the UK because of her two X Factor performances. Talk That Talk had huge opening sales because of We Found Love. This album feels like it'll consistently sell well into next year, with the right single choices of course.

I'd love if she performed Diamonds this Sunday then came back for the finale to duet with Rylan and then perform Right Now.

apparently Xtinas album is #102.

So the last album entered at number one and fell to 29. The new one entered at 28 and looks like falling outside the top 100. A number 100 debut for the next album?

Fingers crossed!

Cheryl sold 80k on the Tuesday set of mids and Robbie sold 73k in Wednesdays mids. I assume Olly is looking to be on at least about 80-85k tomorrow. He's not coming close to Cheryl's total it would seem :(
I expected him to sell between 120 and 130k so he's looking like reaching that target, making it his best singles sales week. I have high hopes for his album, it'll outsell Robbie and Cheryls.

That's the problem! :P

Cheryl's - for sure. She had only 34,934 in debut week.

Rob's - we will see. Maybe yes, maybe not. I'm not sure even Rihanna's will outsell Take The Crown (83k). But her album will be very close. In my opinion,

sales of Olly's LP will be somewhere near from TCC: 80-90k, not more.

Anyway, good week for his single. Although I don'k like this song so much it's the best song of new releases.
