February 17, 201313 yr I truly detest Ellie's voice. It's like she's struggling to talk. She stresses everything too much and is way too overrated here.
February 17, 201313 yr It's a nice meaningful, well written song sung very well. I agree people are overpredicting it but it quite frankly pisses over most of the top 10, and I can say that without even knowing what this week's top 10 looks like. I didn't think it was going to do as well as everybody was predicting, but it's just reached #1 in Australia, so it might be big here after all.
February 17, 201313 yr Ellie Goulding is definitely one of the most fascinating pop acts to appear in the last few years! How so? Fascinating is a strange word to describe her imo.
February 17, 201313 yr How so? Fascinating is a strange word to describe her imo. Artistically speaking, she's everything perfect pop is supposed to be: off-centre, yet accessible. There's not much of it around these days. We're not exactly living through New Pop's late 70's/early 80's undeniable Golden Age, are we?

February 17, 201313 yr I guess my last week's theory became true: FOB's Top 5 placing was more a question of fanbase rallying than anything else.
February 17, 201313 yr One person's fascinating is another person's dull, but there you go. Where's the dullness in Ellie Goulding?
February 17, 201313 yr Pink in 2 decent songs in a row shocker! She thus breaks her previous record by two.
February 17, 201313 yr Where's the dullness in Ellie Goulding? Her personality and some of her songs. This is my opinion, so no need for a  thanks.
February 17, 201313 yr For a Fall Out Boy single to spend two weeks in the top 20 in 2013 is such a welcome surprise, even if the chorus is a slight disappointment.
February 17, 201313 yr Love this track! Glad it held onto the Top 20 - I noticed it climbed to #18 at one point on iTunes.

February 17, 201313 yr Her personality and some of her songs. This is my opinion, so no need for a  thanks. Kim Wilde didn't exactly have the greatest of personalities in her early 80's prime either, yet that didn't stop her from being a fascinating star in her own right.
