You're joking, right? The lyrics to "Walks Like Rihanna" are revolting... even worse than "Blurred Lines"!

'Have you seen that girl, have you seen her?'

No. I haven't. In fact, I don't think she even exists, so what are you guys singing about? ...

No I'm not. WLK is average to crap but IP is just crap imo.

The Wanted - by default because I can't really abide Icona Pop or Robert Thicke.
I don't GET the Icona Pop fuss. It's absolute trash. Very little talent involved and it's not even fun.

I agree. It just has all the right ingredients to make Buzzjack go mental.

Exactly. It's just two screeching women shouting over a Scandinavian beat that has the exact same production of Born This Way.

I fourth this comment before someone comes along and gives the opposite side of the argument.
Maybe that's why I don't like it - because it's cool.

Maybe you were right the first time and it's actually just crap.

Didn't stop you liking "Starships" by bloody Nicki Minaj, which most definitely is not 'good'. :D

I think it is quite different to whats in the charts, and the "shouting" people go on about it just makes it that more anthemic. Perfect pop song!

You don't like a song because too many people like it? LOL

I like a song if I find the music in it, that I like. Of course it is annoying if a song you like has a lot of loons, but who cares, how many people like it? When I'm in the car or listen to music, I don't count how many people looned about it

I don't think 'I Love It' sounds 'different' at all really, it's just a standard pop song. Although I suppose with songs like 'Blurred Lines', 'Bang Bang', 'La La La' and 'Dear Darlin'' currently high up in the chart, standard pop is a bit 'different'.
If John Newman goes to #1 next week a pretty pattern is forming

Daft Punk 4weeks

Naughty Boy 1 week

Robin Thicke 4 weeks

Icona Pop 1 week

John Newman hmmm... 4 weeks

I'm unsure if John Newman's sales will stablise but depending on how popular 'I Love It' remains over the coming weeks, Icona Pop may see themselves return to #1 (assuming they get there this Sunday).

Naughty Boy aside, what a fantastic list of UK chart toppers. :D

If I was Lady Gaga, I would sue the guy who produced I Love It.

Maybe it would be her last shot at earning money from her music :basil:

I Love It has always made me think of Martin Solveig which is never a good thing.

Isn't it a bit of a cross between Martin Solveig (Hello) and The Ting Tings (That's Not My Name) with a little bit of Bodyrockers (I Like The Way)? :D
