August 7, 201312 yr Only care about Olly this week. My favourite song from him (out of everything he's done). Really want this to be at least a top 40 hit for him.
August 7, 201312 yr Quite surprised that QOTSA are still being playlisted. It was strange enough that the lead single made the list, I'd assumed they had gone the way of Franz Ferdinand in R1's estimates (a band who tragically haven't been playlisted on Radio 1 this time).
August 7, 201312 yr Pretty boring week for additions really. MKS could have gone either way, but I guess they won't be adding it now, although there's still always next week. Surprised they moved One Direction up to the A-list considering it's falling down the Top 10!

August 7, 201312 yr MKS are "too old" for them, as insiders say. Seems odd, since I think only one of them is even 30.
August 7, 201312 yr I do hope they playlist MKS, it shouldn't matter what age group the track is aimed at but they need to make these decisions based on what the public reaction is! When Sara Cox played it once it seemed to get very positive reviews, and to be honest there are tracks on the playlist that wouldn't necessarily say 'young audience' such as Kings Of Leon....
August 7, 201312 yr As mentioned in the prediction thread, that's bull crap. Jay-Z & Justin are far older, yet they're getting playlisted. They don't care about the artists, they prefer the audience. I still don't think we should be panicking too much about MKS anyway.
August 7, 201312 yr Hooray for London Grammar and Olly's new one is pretty good too. Disclosure and Klangkarussell going to the A-List + DJ Fresh on the B-List is good stuff too. And brilliant to see 'No Strings' getting some minor support, I'd love to see Chlöe becoming big.
