I always thought 'Stacy's Mom' was a top 10 as well, criminal that it wasn't. Classic.

OMG Steal My Sunshine is such a TUUUUUNE :dance: If ever I wished a song was #1 it's this, #8 was far too low for it!

:up: 21. Le Youth - C O O L - think this might be the highest it's got. Shame it's off the R1 playlist as of next week, but they have a habit of doing this just as a song is taking off again.

Yeah but it's the sort of song Radio 1 will probably keep playing a lot even after it's off the playlist, so I reckon it will still go Top 20.

It would be great if it could still make top 20, I only heard it for the first time a few days ago, it's so good. Seems to have boosted the sales of Me & U as well:

'Steal My Sunshine' would be a welcome return to the top 40 off the back of one of those random 59p effects! :wub:

The deluxe version of Lucy's new album has 17 tracks and contains 9 of the 11 tracks from 'Top Room At The Zoo' (poor 'Summer '08' and ''Til Death' are gone forever it seems) as well as 'Mountains' and 'Tea And Toast' which, while not on her debut, are also old songs (both performed on X Factor). Taking away 'Lighthouse' as well, that's just five other new songs. Such a lazy effort. I don't get why she didn't just re-release 'Top Room At The Zoo' then follow it up with an entirely new album...

 

It also seems she's re-releasing 'Last Night' as her next single, with a release date of 30 Sep (a Monday?!). A little late for that... at least it has a #11 peak already. (Annoyingly iTunes is now tagging that as 'Last Night (Beer Fear)' although the single cover still only says 'Last Night' - dilemma hurr).

That Teenage Dirtbags album looks amazing. If I didn't already own most of it, I'd purchase it.

Great to see Chris Brown back in the T40. The release date of 'X' was pushed back then. Need to read up on it all, but he seems to have indicated retiring, either before releasing X or afterwards.

 

Nelly needs to release his Nicki Minaj and Pharrell collaboration soon too, could be a decent sized hip-hop hit.

I heard Chris is going to have another single before the album after this one featuring Kendrick Lamar (good idea, since Kendrick is quite a talking point right now :lol:).

 

I don't think Nelly's song will do much in the charts, it's not catchy enough imo. Maybe Pharrell's name will sell it.

Quite impressed that Matt and Mel are holding up well at #16 considering they only had 1 daytime TV performance prior to release and 1 after release and very limited radio and video airplay!
Its so annoying to see Applause at #9 all week,at least its still top 10 and it doesnt look like its going to leave anytime time soon! :D
