Biography

Linkin Park is an American rock band from Agoura Hills, California. Formed in 1996, the band rose to international fame with their debut album Hybrid Theory, which was certified Diamond by the RIAA in 2005 and multi-platinum in several other countries. Their following studio album Meteora, continued the band's success, topping the Billboard 200 album chart in 2003, and was followed by extensive touring and charity work around the world. In 2003, MTV2 named Linkin Park the sixth-greatest band of the music video era and the third-best of the new millennium. Billboard ranked Linkin Park No. 19 on the Best Artists of the Decade chart. The band was recently voted as the greatest artist of '00s in a Bracket Madness poll on VH1.

Having adapted nu metal and rap metal to a radio-friendly yet densely layered style in Hybrid Theory and Meteora, the band explored other genres in their next studio album, Minutes to Midnight (2007). The album topped the Billboard charts and had the third-best debut week of any album that year. The band continued to explore a wider variation of musical types in their fourth album, A Thousand Suns (2010), layering their music with more electronic sounds and beats. Their most recent work, Living Things (2012), combines musical elements from all of their previous records. The band has collaborated with several other artists, most notably with rapper Jay-Z in their mashup EP Collision Course, and many others on Reanimation and Recharged. Linkin Park has sold over 60 million albums worldwide and has won two Grammy Awards. - Wikipedia

First time hearing this Linkin Park song in full, it's actually quite good! That's probably because of Steve Aoki though.
Hurrah for 'A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES'. :D
Really like the CHVRCHES track, so glad they made top 40! :D
Top 10...?

YEEEES!!!

 If only...

I'm not really keen on this new Linkin Park track.
I remember I used to love I'm In The House by him...

I thought I was the only one! Love 'I'm In The House' but it got so much hate on here.

'A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES' sounded more like Linkin Park and less like Steve Aoki than I was expecting. Liking it on first listen anyway, their sounds work together fairly well.

First time hearing Linkin Park, not bad at all, I probably prefer them without Steve Aoki but it's great to have new material (that hits the top 40 12 years after their debut!!) from them nevertheless.
Linkin Park have never reached top 5, strange.

Only Gloria Estefan has more weeks top 75 without reaching the top 5

Biography

Spelling their name with a "v" instead of a "u" to differentiate themselves in Internet searches, Glasgow's frosty electro-pop trio Chvrches feature singer Lauren Mayberry and keyboardists/vocalists Iain Cook and Martin Doherty. Mayberry, who previously played with the band Blue Sky Archives and holds a law degree as well as a master's degree in journalism, began working with Cook, a former member of Aerogramme and a film and television music composer, and Doherty, a touring member of the Twilight Sad, when they asked her to sing on some demos they were recording. The sessions went so well that the trio christened itself Chvrches and began writing songs inspired by Prince, Depeche Mode, and Kate Bush. Two of these songs, "The Mother We Share" and "Lies," earned online buzz and led to the band scoring the opening slot on Passion Pit's 2012 U.K. tour. Late that year, Chvrches were among the acts selected for the BBC's Sound of 2013, ultimately finishing fifth. The trio began 2013 by playing a few North American dates and recording its debut album in Cook's basement studio. ~ iTunes

Brilliant to see they didn't end up at #41 after all <3 Such a good song and album! 'Lies' must be released next. That is a genuine smash waiting to happen

Biography

Christopher Maurice "Chris" Brown (born May 5, 1989) is an American recording artist, dancer, and actor. Born in Tappahannock, Virginia, he taught himself to sing and dance at a young age and was involved in his church choir and several local talent shows. Having signed with Jive Records in 2004, Brown released his self-titled debut studio album the following year. It peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200 and was later certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). With his first single "Run It!" peaking atop the US Billboard Hot 100, Brown became the first male artist as a lead since Diddy in 1997 to have his debut single top the chart. His second album Exclusive (2007) spawned his second Hot 100 number one "Kiss Kiss", in addition to "With You" and "Forever". The album was also certified double platinum by the RIAA.

In 2009, Brown received much media attention after pleading guilty to felony assault of singer and his then-girlfriend Rihanna; he was sentenced to five years of probation and six months of community service. His third album Graffiti was released later that year, and included the top-twenty single "I Can Transform Ya". Brown's fourth album F.A.M.E. (2011) became his first to top the Billboard 200; it spawned hit singles "Yeah 3x", "Look at Me Now", and "Beautiful People". F.A.M.E. earned Brown his first Grammy Award for Best R&B Album at the 54th Grammy Awards. His fifth album Fortune was released in 2012. However, apart from Exclusive, Brown's albums were not well received by music critics.

Apart from his work in the music industry, Brown has pursued an acting career. In 2007, he made his on-screen feature film debut in Stomp the Yard, and appeared as a guest on the television series The O.C. Other films Brown has appeared in, include This Christmas (2007), Takers (2010) and Think Like a Man (2012). Throughout his career, Brown has won numerous awards, including two NAACP Image Awards, three American Music Awards and nine BET Awards. - Wikipedia
