October 21, 2025Oct 21 in a similar vein I've had the insane idea of like "best multi-song run from an album" or even a "buzzjack album contest" which is exactly what it sounds like, I would NOT have the fortitude to host such a contest but it would obviously have to be a months-long affair to make sure everyone has the time to listen. the only problem would be finding people with the attention spans to participate lmao
October 22, 2025Oct 22 I'm definitely an albums person (I think probably about 80% of my listening is albums from start to finish. #oldskool) so that sounds interesting. I've also just had the idea of like what we used to do years ago in I think the Indie forum where people would exchange playlists anonymously and review them, but I would like to see one where people exchange albums! But that's not for this part of the forum obviously.

August 13Aug 13 I had an idea about a spin-off where one enters a song that had previously finished outside of the top 5/10/etc. as some sort of second chance/redemption. I realized that some songs I entered in the past that never reached top 10/20 could actually be competitive nowadays :’)Plus we would have a chance to get (re-/)introduced to each others’ earlier entries.
Yesterday at 16:421 day I don't think I can juggle two contests at once. My entry, which is VERY Halloween themed, is going into 189!
