I wonder why Embrace left it that long, it seemed in 2006 they were on the brink of becoming one of the properly huge bands.

I know it's early days but I don't think Can't Remember To Forget You is gonna reach #1. It's not the strongest song ever and Happy and Timber are still going pretty strong so top three is probably the best they can hope for (if they get a move on that is!)

Really like the Shakira/Rihanna song, i think it's a grower.

I'm guessing a debut of around #05 - #06 this week! As you've said it's climbing up too slowly to be a number 1 contender. I actually expected it to be top 5 on iTunes by now though.

On the first listen CRTFY doesn't sound like anything special to me. It is nice but not exactly memorable. I look forward to the video though. Maybe in the context of that and repeated listens it will grow on me.

 

I expect it to get around 5-7 by the end of the week, based on the acts themselves and the initial hype of the release.
