16. Katy Perry - Dark Horse

It still hasn't been playlisted by Radio 1! (Although that will change today, 99% sure). This is going to be huge in a couple of weeks. I wonder if the Vin Diesel video has helped this at all?

looks like it's been picking up a decent bit of airplay from Capital already. Assuming she performs DH at the Brits, i suppose there's a good chance it'll be #1 in a few weeks

Katy's highest chart post-album singles so far are Firework and E.T. at #3 I think. Dark Horse hopefully can match or beat that.

Surprised at how well Dark Horse is doing here and in the US. It's allright but not one of her best.

I really like the first two minutes of "Dark Horse" but then we get that pointless rap that (list most - but not all - of these type of collaborations) just seems so disconnected from the rest of the song and takes away from the continuity of it rather than adds anything.

Most performers do their most successful song of the last year at the Brits, it's not like the Grammys in that respect. And it's not like she doesn't have a megasmash to perform instead.

There have been more 'new single' performances since 'Someone Like You' though. I would imagine Katy will perform 'Dark Horse', though I wouldn't be surprised if she just does 'Roar'.

I agree. There's also the incentive for her team to agree to do 'Roar' in order to propel it over the million mark so it'll be interesting to see what happens. Would prefer 'Dark Horse' overall, although I think it's massively overrated.

I really hope Ellie gets to perform 'Goodness Gracious', even as part of a medley with 'Burn'. I can't imagine the Brits will allow both Katy and Ellie's new singles to be performed over their smashes though.

If Ellie performs Burn I will be so annoyed, over Christmas she was on EVERY show on TV singing that song. It's done. She needs to move on or GG is gonna be a flop of epic proportions.
