Newman re-entering despite them playing the wrong song at the BRITs
This sounds very American 2000 boy bandish
 @ M.A.D. slumping from #11 on Tuesday's mids to #32 on Sunday!
 at missing the top 30, didn't expect that. At least it seems more interesting than "Toyboy".
Wow - Massive drop for M.A.D - They was #11 on Tuesday, #12 on Wednesday and #15 on Friday - They must have basically sold nothing at the weekend!

Their song should be T.R.A.G.I.C....

So "M.A.D - T.R.A.G.I.C" would be more suitable for them..

Ok this is dreadful :/ someone had fun with the autotune with the 'oh yeahs'

Biography

Employing a stylish mix of arty, confessional bedroom pop and club-ready electro-rock that has drawn comparisons to the likes of Grimes, Lana Del Rey, and Sky Ferreira, New Zealand singer/songwriter Ella Yelich-O'Connor, who goes by the stage name Lorde, became an Internet sensation at the age of 16 with the video for her debut single, "Royals," which garnered over 750,000 hits on YouTube. Her 2013 debut EP, The Love Club, hit the number one spot on both the New Zealand and Australian charts. The New Zealander continued her meteoric rise to fame in 2013 with a growing fan base and began sessions for her debut album, Pure Heroine, with producer Joel Little. - iTunes

Chart history (Year peak title):

2014 29 Team -2-

Album Discussion Here

Team is not that bad, I prefer Tennis Court to both this and Royals however
Newman re-entering despite them playing the wrong song at the BRITs

He's mainly back due to his performance on Jonathan Ross (and yes, he did perform 'Love Me Again' despite having 3 singles since then).

This enormous drop over the week for M.A.D makes me think some of their sales might have been discounted - they were holding up so well throughout the rest of the week  Perhaps sales were just very high at the end of the week. Glad for the drop though, absolutely terminal song (and 'Toyboy' actually wasn't THAT bad IIRC). Was certain it was headed for the top 20 after all the pre-orders of all those versions!

Wrong direction already Lorde

Sorry if there are any errors in this recap, I did type up a lot of it in a bit of a rush as I kinda forgot to prepare again whoops.

'Fame & TV' is seriously bad. The production is so cheap, and the lyrics are awful. How they've managed to get a fanbase big enough to get top 40 hits…

Good to hear 'Team' though, the song is growing.

Team is much better than "Royals"..It's one of my favourite songs in this year (so far..)

Those M.A.D lyrics were hilariously laughable, like they were trying to be snarky about the media society when them and the song have absolutely no individuality and was the epitome of a generic, autotuned hit that they seem to be criticising :manson:

Loving this Lorde song though
