So did 600 people return their copies of 'My Everything' or something, as her sales have gone from 15.8k yesterday to 15.2k today, or is it just innacurate figures for one?

Got Dry the Rivers first album 2 years ago and it was quite good but radio 1 havent even played anything from this newie as far as I have heard.

Hope Sam Smith, Iggy & Ed rise into the top 10 and Lethal B can creep in to if he wants. Some great risers. So Taylor is 1.5k behind Guetta and 8% ahead on Kworb, Id say streaming will kill her as far as a new peak is concerned. Should do another 35-40k this week though and stabilise or rie as decent airplay kicks in in the coming month!

It's incredible how well Royal Blood is doing! The first rock album I've liked in a long time ~
Duke Dumont's pre-order is not doing big things so I'm not expecting much.

2 Maroon 5 - Maps (21.8k) *

3 David Guetta feat. Sam Martin - Lovers On The Sun (23.1k)

4 Taylor Swift - Shake It Off (21.7k)

What's the error with these, just so I'm clear?

Dukes been on pre order so long his initial pre order sales will be quite alot id imagine but he will sell slowly during the week id say!

Clearly a typo, it's on 18.2k today.

Has Katy Perry entered the top 40 yet? She's been between 29 - 31 on iTunes the past 3 days and is picking up on spotify.

Guessing The Sats still out of the albums in albums?

Katy is pretty certain to make the Top 40 in tomorrow's update and The Saturdays have just got back into the Top 40 at #40.

Glad that Sam/Ed/Iggy all look to be reaching new peaks this week, great news.
I reckon this week could be one of Kate Bush's highest sales weeks in a year that she didn't release an album.
Sam Smith down to 11 noooo! This could be his 'Set Fire To The Rain' - two massive lead singles, a big(ish) third single but one that never breaks the Top 10! :(

You have to remember that Lethal Bizzle will surely be out of the top 10 by Sunday, streaming will harm him despite holding up at 13 on iTunes so Sam Smith will be top 10 replacing him I should imagine ^_^

Yes for The Sats GH looking to stay top 40 for another week. Doing much better physically than digitally since it's so low on iTunes.

Sales have really gone done recently. Lilly Wood only on 51k in the middle of the week? At this rate it'll be lucky to do much more than 80k.

I guess Duke Dumont should easily go to #1 next week but I can't imagine his sales being that good.

Really looks like Rather Be may well claim the fastest selling song this year then, amazing to think a Jan release might claim that honour. Only thing that could stop it is X Factor winner's song but I don't think Sam Bailey sold all that impressively?

Pop music is fine. Union J are just the North & South/V/Triple 8 of 2014, every era has a couple of d-list boybands. As for Pixie and The Sats, they've had a better run than most might have expected but their relevance is long over now.

Don't you DARE insult the band that gave us No Sweat and Tarantino's New Star by lumping them in with those other two.

On the Kate Bush front, it's interesting to see that Aerial hasn't re-entered the top 40 albums yet, even though it makes up a sizable portion of her live show. Perhaps the somewhat problematic guest vocalist on the album has put some people off buying it?

Is that Rolf?

I'm glad The Red Shoes was Top 60 in Wednesday's update, I think it's her most cohesive album & I listened to "Moments of pleasure" today in work and shed a tear. Had to put disco on after it as I had a really busy day!

It is indeed. It's a pity that the download/post-2010 CD pressings of Aerial has turned the 2nd disk into one long track rather than separate ones, as you can't skip the two tracks that he features on.
