1. Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass 1.0000

2. Jessie J, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj - Bang Bang 0.4092

3. Taylor Swift - Shake It Off 0.4092

The above is the most recent pop percentage bars for the top 3 although Taylor Swift is now listed as #2 on iTunes.

If it wasn't for Taylor Swift going to #2 we could have seen Nicki Minaj have two songs in the top 3 later on tonight.

Nicki Minaj having two songs in the top 5 is enough for someone who "won't ever have a top 30 hit again". Ey, Eric? :kink:
I'm really interested to see how 'Anaconda' does, although I'm pretty sure top 2 is a certainty.

I'm sure it will chart well, but probably only cause of the hype caused by the artwork/video. I always get the impression that her features are much better than her solo tracks.

I swear that it was Swagger Jagger that was #1 when the London riots happened?, I remember that I was working in a shop in Camden Town at that time and some other shops nearby got looted but luckily our shop didn't get targeted.

I believe it was realeased the week it was going on as we were in Birmingham for my little sisters birthday on the 8th of august & she shamefully brought Swager Jagger from HMV Bullring. Then later on people started rioting in Birmingham, throwing petrol bombs at cars and smashing shop windows & trying to copy london.

Anaconda is a certain top 3. Can't see it having a great chart run due to lack of airplay though. And obviously it won't go to #1 because Meghan Slaynor
Anaconda may have to settle for #03 depending on the boost 'Bang Bang' gets from the X-factor.
Go Sheridan Smith!! Should have released tomorrow to get a full weeks effect but not complaining.

Christmas is here!

Yesterday morning :

1481. All I Want For Christmas Is You - Mariah Carey

:cheer:

 2. Sigma - Changing (feat. Paloma Faith)

It looks like Sigma's appearance on Soccer AM this morning has given them a boost.

I was so happy when I saw her version had been released, though its a shame it's taken ITV so long to release it!!

I've only just checked iTunes and Sheridans version is at 20 :cheer:

If only this had been released while the show was on! I hope this can chart, would be great to see Sheridan get a top 40 hit

I can't imagine the boost for 'Bang Bang' being anywhere near big enough to sell more than 'Anaconda'. It is not exactly being performed by the front runner in the competition.

I can see 'Anaconda' doing around 70k at least, where-as 'Bang Bang' without X Factor would probably be doing around 40, so maybe 45-50k with it? Can see it still being #4 behind ABTB, Anaconda and Glow tbh.

For some bizarre reason, "Let's Get Ridiculous" wasn't a hit in the UK - given the success of LMFAO I'm not exactly sure why. Just heard this for the first time, #3 in Australia and #11 in New Zealand at the moment, wonder if it'll be a hit here. It's certainly got all the elements to be (copying "Trumpets", "Wiggle", "Crazy Stupid Love" etc.)

Please don't even suggest it, he's perhaps the worst "musician" ever...

Strictly Come Dancing

005. Calvin Harris ft. John Newman - Blame

037. Ed Sheeran - Sing (+ 206, 542)

146. Jason Mraz - I'm Yours

172. Whitney Houston - Million Dollar Bill (+ 859)

210. Norah Jones - Come Away With Me

739. Bruno Mars - Treasure

804. Aretha Franklin - (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman

1156. Spice Girls - Stop

1471. Lou Bega - Mambo No. 5 (A Little Bit Of...)

Very happy to see 'Million Dollar Bill' getting a good boost so far - certainly one of my favourites from Whitney, just love that disco and soul fusion.

Mariah Carey - "All I Want For Christmas Is You " #997. First Christmas song to break the top 1000! Leona's "One More Sleep" is #2 on the holiday chart, but is yet to break the top 1500. Hopefully it'll make an appearance soon. :D

I think Redfoo has only had hits because he's a judge on Aussie X-Factor, he performed both times and was exposed loads. But then idk I guess you can't tell whether it was that or not but it certainly helped a lot. I wondered why they didn't push LGR properly worldwide.

I did love Let's Get Ridiculous though I can't lie :/
