Are the pogues not top 500 or just missed?

They're at 81, 190, 650

So erm the 'Christmas' update kinda missed out one of the biggest/ if not the best song

I presume environment was only looking for songs with the genre 'holiday'... At least, I hope. :P Of not, only Leona would have got a mention.

How exactly does one forget to include The Pogues in a Christmas update :')

(in fairness though, he also missed out one of Mariah's versions ~)

Well it was pretty much the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard (read) so don't expect an apology. -_-

Bit late responding but I actually agree with MishaB. The UK (whether it is the media or the general public) has this mentality of building someone/something up just to knock them/it down again. On forums alone, you get that consensus. But with the US, they seem to love confidence and self-empowerment so their mentality is different (obviously this is a major generalisation but then I am talking about the general public )

Because everyone in the UK acts the same way. This is a fact. Where's Eric Blob these days?

But Adele wasn't knocked down. Everyone is still buying her album, it's broken UK records.

Oops, how could I forget The Pogues (I voted them over Mariah in the recent poll)!? I just searched Christmas/Santa and then certain artists. Completely forgot about them and missed Mariah's second version by accident.

Can't wait for all the Christmas songs to start getting played from Tuesday onwards. :D

Coukd anyone tell me where Leona is when combined? :)

"One More Sleep" should be top 200 combined, with two versions at #278 & #288. Where in the top 200 I'm not too sure.

Carrie Underwood

#137. Heartbeat

#159. Before He Cheats (Maybe she should've performed this instead? Was #732 before X-factor)

#1085. Smoke Break

Storyteller up to #19 on iTunes (was #50 before the performance).

There are bound to be a few exceptions. With Adele I think it is because there is nothing really to criticise her about. When she has an album out she breaks records etc but she's not really overexposed because she stays out of the limelight when she isn't releasing music.

I find it interesting that the UK is maybe the only country where "Hello" isn't still number 1 and outselling the number 2 by a huge margin. She is huge in the UK of course but it is quite funny that in other countries, "Hello" is being even bigger than it is in her home country.
