#9 is disappointing really but I can see why it hasn't clicked with the public, even if I really like it. I just hope she's managed correctly now and comes back with a smash hit single to launch her album.

Number 9 is a terrible outcome for an X Factor winner. Week 2 will be more interesting than usual for an X Factor winner. Just noticed it missed the top 10 over in Ireland, like the UK the winners usually do well there. The song obviously is not clicking with people anywhere.

Aw this song is actually fairly good tbh, probably the 2nd best winner's single (after 'When We Collide'). I guess people are just finally sick of X Factor. Amazed at just how much the hype has died off since last year when Ben Haenow could still manage a 200k first week though...
Wow I knew it weren't going to be #1, due to X Factor sucking badly this year, but #9, that's not good at all. Just goes to show that Simon Cowell should at least put some effort into the winners song, instead of some bland cover that we get every year. But this year X Factor was just totally rushed and sank in the ratings against Strictly Come Dancing. I think X Factor is on it's way out and hasn't been good since 2010.
I remember American Idol had a songwriting contest at one point where the selected song would be sang by the winner. I think that would work well for the X Factor. It's time to abandon these boring cover versions!
Yeah, but the song they picked was pretty much the worst song imaginable, with a cringeworthy title and generic inspirational lyrics. So, originals can be bad too!

I quite like this as well, but winner's singles' success is in decline everywhere else so no surprise it's happening here also. Something more radio-friendly would have made a lot more sense but fingers crossed she'll move on from this quickly.

Louisa is just a boring winner, that's all.

I can't wait for RNB first single to chart higher than this

Amazon have her album up for pre-order and say it's being released on February 26th 2016?

I doubt they'd get anywhere near the top 10

If I'm not mistaken they sometimes have placeholder dates, but it does seem odd they'd even release an album for pre-order when presumably it'd come October at the earliest if they actually cared! I hope if it is out then it's just some studio covers of the songs she sang with Forever Young tacked on to bridge the gap between now and he debut in Q4 next year, but that should be released right after the show like it is on X Factor Australia (their show finished mid/late Nov and the albums are out mid Dec at the latest). If they did do that, that doesn't send a good message to the public - they'll assume that Louisa was given the Sam Bailey treatment. It would be awful if they squandered the artist who could potentially be their biggest since Leona Lewis like that!

They've always had an album pre-order for the winner iirc. I know Alexandra had one after she won. I think Little Mix did too!

They always do it but it's never usually listed with a actual release date it's normally something generic like 'October 2016 - TBC'

She has climbed to number 6 in the latest mid-week information, that's some positive sign for her. If she plummeted this week it would have been an extremely worrying start to her X Factor winners career.
Down to #9 now again now according to Minty...

She's actually at #7 in today's midweeks. Not sure what MintRoyale is looking at.. or did he tweet the wrong number by accident?

The production on it is abysmal and if she'd have sang it more like the Joan Baez version which I love, she'd have a bigger impact.
