One Dance red and already 2.15% behind number 10, shows how a top 10 exit resulting in no mention on the itunes top songs on the front page can be damaging.

This could be One Dance's last week then  incredible achievement nonetheless, a quarter of a year at #1!
It would be a joke if the official number 1 was not even top 10 on actual sales
Why have the the last few singles from Ariana Grande under performed so much? I thought after Problem she would be one of the next big female singers. Focus and Dangerous woman didnt do very much and Dangerous Woman is the lead single and that didnt even go top 10. Into You sounds like a smash but its only creeping up the chart and probably wont do much either. There seems to be little buzz about her now, compared to when Problem was out, did the donut incident ruin her? Also Break Free, Love Me Harder and One Last Time are very good songs on her last album but they didnt do great either. If someone like Rihanna released these or Into You they would be huge

Loving the charts right now!

9. Jonas Blue - Perfect Strangers (feat. JP Cooper)

Fantastic.

Any bets where One Dance will fall once it gets knocked off the top... #2 :heehee:

'Break Free', 'Love Me Harder' and 'One Last Time' all did exceptionally well considering the peaks and are constantly reappearing in the top 1500. Wasn't 'Love Me Harder' a huge streaming hit, too (in fact, I think Ariana in general has good to great streams)? 'Dangerous Woman' I agree under performed at first/as far as peaks are concerned, but the run it's had is fantastic and cannot be looked down or frowned upon. 'Into You' seems like it's going to be a big hit, C-List on Radio 1 has only just started, so airplay will begin to pick up on that and I can see her doing well on streaming with it (as she usually does).

I'm confident 'Into You' can go top 10 (on iTunes at the very least). I think it'll be a grower hit. Maybe something similar to Dua Lipa's 'Hotter Than Hell'?

I think Into You will be top 10 too. Break Free was as good as a top 10, it's sold like 450k.

I believe it would have been had it not been chart ineligible for the first few weeks.

I always forget about that too. It'd probably even be close to Platinum had it not been.

Kent Jones, Ariana Grande and Beyoncé need to push Drake down even further

At the end of the day money talks and Drake's definitely got the money! The special bond between him and the OCC wont be broken anytime soon.............

Its sales do include the once ineligible ones now - when the BPI certified it Gold, it had appeared to trickle sell and stream too much than could be possiblesince its last known total/estimate which hadn't included the ineligible sales (same applies to 'Do What U Want'). Basically, at some unknown point, the OCC have changed their rules.

Alicia Keys - In Common is going to do nothing at all isn't it? :(

It's a nice song, and a welcome departure from her standard material, but I don't think it's strong enough to be a chart hit unfortunately.

Such a tune too! One of her best single releases IMO.

Jonas Blue really climbing this week after a few slow weeks.

So pleased to see this after it crawled up the charts 48-46-44-38 and stalled at around #25 on iTunes. The record company got the strategy right on this one - Letting streaming build for a few weeks before slapping a 59p price reduction on the song.

yes g'won Jonas Blue!

good to see he won't remain a one-hit wonder, Perfect Strangers is starting to hit me and it definitely deserves to be a top ten.
