Chainsmokers WERE good when they did bangers, none of this dull shit like Paris and Closer. I don't mind Stay but it's just because Alessia is so good really, I am fed up of this being the go to sound. It's not exciting or dynamic, it's just a lazy way to get an easy Spotify hit that hangs around for ages.

Don't Let Me Down is by far Chainsmokers' best effort.

Happens with every chart trend though eventually... happened with David Guetta, Disclosure etc. Could even say Chainsmokers are copying Major Lazer's template from 'Lean On'.

 

The problem I have with The Chainsmokers/Garrix/Zedd stuff at the minute is that its not really very dancey and more pop than anything...fair enough it is the future bass era now but why can't more dancey future bass songs that aren't as poppy like Marshmello, Ookay and Noah Cyrus - Chasing Colors become hits.

'Lean On' and 'Firestone' have led to a whole raft of downbeat faux dance crossover tracks.

Well I was very clearly wrong about Bad Behaviour! I didn't think it'd do anything but the fact it hasn't fallen all week and is now climbing shows it's looking likely that it's gonna be a decent sized hit.
