Right then guys, you know how these goes just vote for your least favourite Lady Gaga single round by round until we can find out which is Buzzjack's favourite Gaga single. Here in this list there are 20 of her official singles, I haven't included 'Dance In The Dark' as that was only released in Australia and wasn't really a proper single, despite it being great and plus I didn't include any of her duets with Tony Bennett, as I don't think any of them were officially released.

'Perfect Illusion' for me. In the context of the album, I've actually grown to appreciate it, but I just cannot listen to it on it's own!

I go through periods where I quite like it but it will forever be tainted by my first memories of the song. I remember being on holiday abroad on the day it premiered and I'm sure I wasn't able to listen to it on my phone for some reason, so I had to wait until I got back home. My anticipation was so high, particularly due my holiday and wanting something you couldn't have, and I was so disappointed with what I heard. I actually thought it was a joke at first or maybe I was listening to a really bad demo. I certainly don't disregard it that much anymore and it did end up growing on me at the time too, but that's definitely tainted the song for me. The spelling out of the title is probably my favourite part of the song.

 

Oh and the video felt like a parody, as if someone thought "lol, put Gaga's head on a black swan - that's something crazy like Gaga would do", instead of feeling innovative or well-considered or anything.

GUY, I love the song but a single ...no thanks.

Applause was a really bad lead at a time when people were already seeing her as up herself.

One of the weakest links on The Fame. Although the video was quite charming iirc!

Gaaah, this is tough! I never really realised how much I liked her but her singles discography is pretty flawless, I don't dislike any of these :o Gone for TIHTY though, I like the meaning behind it but the song itself isn't the most exciting track ever.
