Must be a bug around, Spotify was down the other day and Snapchat is being so slow today too. :lol:

Is it a numb little bug?

I was getting mildly concerned about the downtime earlier - BuzzJack going down still happens all the time so it's not normally something that bothers me any more (it's just a signal to go do something else for a couple of minutes x) but it seemed to be going on significantly longer than usual this time. Good thing Phil was on hand and indeed it's been fine for the rest of the day.

The more this happens the more urgently we should be really getting migrated to our new site and new servers. :mellow:

It’s not that I’ve been having lag time recently as such, but just an observation I’ve made in more recent times is that having embedded links to Youtube videos, Spotify, Apple Music, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook really slows page loading times. I don’t want these features to be removed of course, but it’s having an effect on some pages in the forum.

It really is getting worse each day. :(

It's been a major one for going down this evening. 2 or 3 times lagging.

Looking at the Latest Posts it's been the same for everyone.

Definitely time to find new website hosts as these servers are appalling.

Sorry guys, hardware failure and had to rebuild the box. Looking at options currently to stabilise and improve performance.

Note from the engineer:

There was an intermittent error reported on the DIMM slot1 ( replaced ), replaced the chassis CMOS and the H200 raid card threw an error ( replaced )

It’s happening again isn’t it. Why the slowness BuzzJack, can’t you just load pages faster for a day without disruption. :(

The site is always slow for a while just after 2am. (I think Phil acknowledged this in the past and it was fixed for a while but then started happening again, it was just some quirk of server upkeep and not of any concern)
