Although actually I don't think Iz has ever won any of the song contests either and he's been entering them for even longer so at least a long wait is over for someone, congrats Iz (after initially almost not entering this edition and all) x 'Danger' is a really good winner too but I was really rooting for 'Panic' there as it was my favourite and one I didn't think would do that well, plus it winning would give me hope that one of my weird UP entries could win one day!! :lol:

 

So close to the top 10 myself as well dammit (although it would have been a 'fake' top 10 anyway since 'Pizza' got a deduction). That is a really good top 10 anyway, I voted for 8/10 of them and the other two were 13th and 14th! Jade's song deserved much better though x

And ofc. thanks everyone that voted Panic, I really didn't expect so many top scores and thought it may be a bit too weird to catch on, but thrilled to see that wasn't so, another 2nd place is ofc. marvellous, that's two this year across different song contests ;o

I didn't actually expect the winner to run away with it! It's good though. Congrats Iz yay. I preferred Forest Swords but I'll also take that. I also really loved that my 20 pointer came fourth but I'm kinda glad that it didn't win because it's not particularly alternative.

Well... at least I didn't come last :lol: not exactly debuting with a bang like in Nuggets but I did see that I got a coveted 20 from Rollo so thanks for that :wub: plus another high score from Mattias and small points elsewhere so it definitely could've been worse.

Inouwee was a song I almost entered to BJSC 53, then changed and forgot about for years until I was looking on my iPod for a decent UP sounding song this month - which explains the different sound, we're going back to 2013 Iz's priorities for song searching, I can't really do it as effectively out here. Got right back into it though so I'll definitely take that as a winner, I'm so very pleased with that and that people I didn't expect were giving me 20s and the like. One down, three to go xx (incl. spinoffs)

 

Commiserations to Chez too, your song sounded very interesting. I'm amused that the top 2 is made up of songs called Danger and Panic though. And very well done at hosting Pete, I'll get thinking how to present the next one, whenever it may be.
