February 28, 20196 yr I'm sure she'd have done better if something off 'El Mal Querer' was somehow allowed through the veto but we already know BJSC is racist to her flamenco stuff. I still stan. x This was a really good semi, the whole contest is a lot better than the last one! Sending the biggest hypes to Republic of Adonia which I think is my new favourite East Asian BJSC entry ever, the energy *.* Hype as well to Flynnonda, Hushkanukia (Molly did not disappoint <3), Jupiterdonia, Kluminican Republic and Terra Avium. Dare I hype Klum Rep as a big hit a second month in a row after how that panned out last month... it kind of felt like a big moment in a similar vein to 'Dark Sea', a stunning instrumental but then coming in with the surprise vocals in the end. The vocals reminded me of Kishi Bashi as well. And both of those songs came 5th so surely this has to do that well too xxx

Quimica did decently with the number of voters but no medal positions - I'd imagine Saturn would be the opposite of that but depends how many it appeals to! Also sharing your love for the Republic of Adonia entry - bit of a wall of sound but so much fun! Alex M.O.R.P.H. also stood out on first listen, the song structure reminds me of RAMelia and also shares an incredible build up!
March 1, 20196 yr Ouch, looking at a massive flop then, wasn't expecting that at all. :( We wanted to send something calmer and more modern sounding than our usual entries but maybe it came across as too generic.
