What a pathetic individual. The BBTory ahs a lot to answer for, promoting that empty cretin just because he's from the establishment upper classes! Disgusting toff.

He has a right to speak though as an elected MEP. He was only saying goodbye. :D

Oh, yes, a right to programmes about him, plus the most panel invitations ever as well? If he were working class, do you think the BBTory would have slathered over getting him onto everything? Yeah no. He's from the elite and the BBTory cowed down and promoted it.
The brexshit mps will miss it for their easy paydays, but Europe and the MEPs won't miss the brexshitters.

The former MEPs like Farage will get a good pension.

"We want to leave the club!"

"Bye then, off you go"

"Wahh you're being mean!"

That's what this sounds like. Farage deserves a lot worse than being put in the naughty seat.

Well not everyone can be godthinkers as you put it. However fortunately for you the medium of a forum gives you ample time to think before you click post!

As BB King said "The good thing about education is that it cant be taken away from people"

A former MEP has just said that in 10 years Britain will be in such a healthy state after Brexit that no-one will want to admit they voted Remain.

How do they know? Do they have a crystal ball?

Against all forecasts and the fact that we'll be eating chlorinated chicken :ol:    :D  And the fact that demographics aren't on your side and you're already the minority?   And the fact there are brexiters regretting what they did already?!  :D  Hilarious!

Also did that establishment piece of shit JUST USE THE ROYAL WE?! Quick remidner: 27% of the population voted for brexshit. Another fun fact: it was a 50 50 split vote. Sooo, who's we? ;) At least 50% of us - at LEAST - will miss the EU. The brexshit mps will miss it for their easy paydays, but Europe and the MEPs won't miss the brexshitters.

Do you think that if you repeat this enough times it'll change anything?

Chris' endless quotes from some relevant and irrelevant people trying to convince others (and themselves primarily) that Brexshit is not a mistake are amusing.

No-one can possibly say if it's a mistake or not as we haven't even left yet.

I know, if only it was something else instead...

Cutting off his hand would be barbaric. :(

No-one has yet chosen to amputate their hand and have it replaced by a foot, so there's absolutely no way of determining whether it's a good idea or not.

You can use all available fact-based projections to see that it's a bad thing without actually having to experience this bad thing. But I recognise that we've gone way past the point of using evidence to back up our base instincts.

We don't even need to look into the future. We can just assess what has already happened. The referendum and its aftershocks have already harmed any social cohesion that Britain had, and you only have to look at today's Holyrood vote to conclude that it threatens the future of the UK as a country. Most people, even the majority of Leave voters, who I accept still don't like the EU and still want Brexit to happen, nevertheless agree that the referendum should never have taken place.

This is an important point that is easy to forget — Brexit or no Brexit — was creating such a heinous and toxic divide worth it? That is a genuine question to Brexit supporters because it's truly fractured society to the point of no immediate return.

Brexit has fractured and divided this country in a way that I thought Inwould never see in my lifetime, and this division will not suddenly be healed when we leave.

It will continue and deepen and ultimately lead to the break up of the union.

I would not be suprised if eventually, many number of years down the line we see a much weaker less influential England wanting to come back in, with the terms we are offered being much less favourable than what we have now, and quite rightly so, for all the S*HT we have caused.

I would not be surprised if eventually our departure leads to the break-up of the EU. Other members will see how well we're doing and want to leave too.

In some good news though, the EU flag will remain flying at the Scottish Parliament building.

Always quite proud when I go to Dublin and see the tricolour and European flag flying side by side at the four courts!

Brexshit has strengthened pro-EU sentiment the continent over. Sorry. Mwaa. The UK is finished thanks to the double whammy of Bojo and Brexshit. Wales going from 5% indie support in 2014 to nigh-on 40% today should be sounding alarm bells.
