Posted April 13, 20205 yr S Club 8 (formerly S Club Juniors), were a spin off of the British pop group S Club 7. The group's members, Frankie Bridge (née Sandford), Jay Asforis, Daisy Evans, Calvin Goldspink, Stacey McClean, Aaron Renfree, Hannah Richings, and Rochelle Humes (née Wiseman), were all in their early teens or younger when they were chosen from thousands of hopefuls on the television series S Club Search in 2001. Loved the tv search and enjoyed their 2 albums. Who was your favourite at the time ? ( so not during Saturdays and later) As a young closeted teen coming to age Calvin used to be my fave :wub: . April 13, 20205 yr I remember liking Frankie the most out of the girls! I saw ha star quality from the very beginning x When The Saturdays launched and we learned that Frankie and Rochelle were members, the fact that they had been in S Club Juniors was the main reason I paid attention to them immediately! Like Maz, I had a crush on Calvin! (Please note that I was 14 and 15 years old during the 2 years that S Club Juniors/8 were releasing music, and I was only 11 months older than Calvin x). If I'm being honest, Calvin was my favourite back in 2002/3, but overall it would have to be Frankie... I'll vote for Frankie based on the fact she was very prominent vocally.

April 13, 20205 yr :rofl: Nope, Rochelle shared that picture to Twitter in 2011, when she found out that All Fired Up had reached #1 on iTunes. The funny thing is that it only stayed at #1 for a very short time, I can't remember how short but I want to say less than an hour? :lol: I couldn't find this iconic picture, but thankfully Lee had it saved. *_*
April 30, 20214 yr I peeped at Maz's thread because it's his Birthday and saw this thread so I'm dredging it up (Mwahahah) FYI, Aaron was my favourite and now he's a stunner of a man. So still my fave :lol:
May 1, 20214 yr My students actually believe I was in S Club Juniors. Kids will believe anything. Hilarious, my TA told my pupils I was H from Steps after one of the children said I looked like him during christmas party games... they all believed it! I'm actually friends with someone who got down to the final 10 for the band of Juniors, he is a teacher now too.
