The votes are in and it's Shaggy who finishes in 4th place with the classic 'It Wasn't Me'. It's shocking to discover that this track only lasted one week at #1 yet managed to end up as 2001's biggest seller - especially when Shaggy's follow-up 'Angel' was able to last at #1 for three weeks. What's perhaps more surprising is the fact 'It Wasn't Me' sold over 345,000 copies in its first week alone! Truly incredible sales! Maybe it is no surprise after all that it ended up as the year's biggest seller. I really enjoy the track even to this day and the spoken word at the beginning is ICONIC. I don't really regard 2001 as a great year for pop music but this is definitely one of the highlights.

Well done guys, already booting out the best one :drama:

Bleeding Love to go.

Shaggy done well to get so far (when's his forum coming btw??) It was one of those classic songs I never really knew how it was regarded on here as I don't believe it's been on many rates or survivors. It did flop in a BJSC spinoff I do believe.

Poker Face to go.

I went for 'Where Is The Love?' again. I thought Bleeding Love vs Poker Face would have been an amazing top 2 but that might not happen. :drama:

Who knocked Shaggy off the top? :o To have sales that huge and only have one week at #1 is insane :o

Where Is The Love for me pls. I think it's a bit overrated as people resonate way more with the message rather than the song itself. It's decent but not a Black Eyed Peas highlight for me.

but if it wasn't for WITL? we wouldn't have BEP :snif: (i know that's not true because they existed before but just saying that WITL? is partially responsible for success of BEP)

Westlife with Uptown Girl. :deadbanana: The early noughties in a nutshell.

Omg the result has changed from earlier. :cheeseblock: The final round will open Friday at 3PM. Once this #1 survivor is finished, I will begin the #2's. :teresa:

To be fair it was the comic relief single and their biggest seller. By the time It Wasn’t Me over took (didn’t take long) Hear’Say had become a phenomenon.

Bleeding Love is the clear weakest out of these three, Where Is The Love the clear strongest (message songs UP, and it's also has the best feeling out of these)

Definitely the correct top 3, all great songs

Went for Where is The Love though
