May 12, 20206 yr I might have missed this a few weeks back but I don't understand why Perfect isn't on permanent ACR now? Perfect actually has to decline for three weeks like any other song, it can’t just be automatically relegated to permanent ACR I don’t agree with it either but that’s the rule.
May 12, 20206 yr Based on the current sales trajectory, this is my final prediction for Friday. Extra weighting has been given to Grande & Bieber as they are doing well on YouTube. 1. DaBaby’s Rockstar with 38,800 sales 2. Grande & Bieber with 36,800 sales 3. Drake’s Toosie with 35,900 sales Could be close but I think DaBaby is all but guaranteed his first UK NO.1- interesting that this track has come out of the woodwork considering we initially thought it would be a battle between Grande/Bieber and Drake.

But then whenever this 3-year rule was introduced (back in 2018 iirc?), didn't every single song 3 years prior to that date be put automatically on ACR or did they literally monitor every old song for 3 weeks as they do with songs now?
May 12, 20206 yr If DaBaby gets to #1 that be the second version of a track called ROCKSTAR to get to #1 after Post Malone's hit of the same title, but in lower case :lol: I think Nickelback had a single called Rockstar as well unless I dreamt it, can't remember how far that went.

Although to be honest I was expecting it to be automatically relegated to ACR when it turned 3 years old, the OCC didn't exactly make that rule clear beforehand.

It would be the 4th single titled Rockstar to make the top 2 - Nickelback and Dappy's songs both reached #2 - although Nickelback's was a lot lot bigger - Dappy's only spent 4 weeks in the top 40, Nickelback's spent 39 (still one of the longest running ever) - Post Malone spent 23.
