May 10, 20206 yr Nice for Little Mix. I'm assuming Bounce Back was out of the top 20 by this point? It had dropped out the top 40 by now (although it'd re-enter for a week) SBS comparison BUS: 09-19-20-18-20-18-14? BB: 10-17-25-27-34-41-39-42-47-x
May 10, 20206 yr Unfortunately the Katherine Jenkins version is listed as 25 March 2017. Which means when it was first promoted at the start of lockdown it missed the 3 week rule for avoidance of ACR by 2 weeks. Which is very annoying
May 10, 20206 yr The Katherine Jenkins version of 'We'll Meet Again' wasn't the one people were streaming (or, for the most part, buying for that matter) anyway.
May 10, 20206 yr Yes but it had negligible streams then as well so being on ACR wouldn't have made much difference. The solo version actually did have a day of fairly strong streams this week so it being on ACR is more of an issue.
May 11, 20206 yr but are you sure they aren't combined cos of the charity rule? pretty sure I read it somewhere when you have 2 versions of a song, and one is for charity but the other isn't, they cannot be combined
May 11, 20206 yr We'll Meet Again needs a remix feat. Beyonce. I'd be interested to see the lifetime sales of Vera Lynn singles/albums. I guess it's difficult for a lot of the stuff released decades ago, but y'know.

May 11, 20206 yr They're not combined because the Katherine Jenkins version is Katherine's song for her album, in duet with Vera, it'd be the same if it was any other song with an original and a cover version that happens to feature the original performer. Red Hot Chilli Pipers ft. Tom Walker?
May 11, 20206 yr It’s no shock they are not combining versions of ‘We’ll Meet Again’ on last weeks sales chart they were listed separately. The solo version was a re-entry at #15 and the duet version was up from #44 to #18.

May 11, 20206 yr Vera Lynn - 103 year old queen of multiple album re-entries, streaming and a single from 1939 charting :cheeseblock: Edited May 11, 20206 yr by ___∆___
May 11, 20206 yr I really expected D Day Darlings for midweek #1 seems I underestimated Hayley but just not seen anything about her having a solo album
May 11, 20206 yr All the old songs going to ACR seems to have made way for even older songs to creep back in!!!
