hopefully Drake will be able to take the #1 back by the end of the week, the Ariana song just isn't doing it for me.

I imagine DaBaby will be #1 next week then, he's probably too far behind to get it this week but he should at least overtake Doja Cat and maybe Ariana too.

"Yay" at the prospect of 6ix9ine getting another top 10 then, just what we didn't need in 2020 and it could even give him a personal best peak.

Vera down 15 places since yesterday in the singles doesn't bode well for her chances of going top 40, oh well.

Great to see Topic comfortably top 40, it just needs a bigger Spotify push now as it's clearly a future big hit.

Regard nearly top 40 today's also great to see and only behind a few songs on ACR so maybe he could scrape in this week?

I don't get the appeal of 6ix9ine?? Is it the fact that he's not a good person that makes him appealing and edgy to people? Kinda like XXXtentacion or Chris Brown? I sound so old but his music is just loud and meaningless? There's so many better and more deserving rappers who should be getting this instant kind of success.

Vera Lynn is at number 6 in the singles chart and will probably break a 3 week old record of being the oldest living person to score a top 40 hit in the UK...

Vera Lynn

that was yesterday's news - she's down to #21 today and at the rate she's declined on streaming it seems unlikely she'll make the top 40.

36 Ed Sheeran - Perfect ^

38 Lewis Capaldi - Someone You Loved ^

Disgusting :puke2:

I think Dua Lipa will take back the album number 1.

Lewis Capaldi has more chance I think..

I can't believe we're letting 6ix9ine still have a career.

The albums chart is often quite exciting when sales are low!

Not a clear cut race for #1 can see any of Dua, Drake or Lewis getting it by end of the week.

Oh that's brilliant to see Hayley at #1 so far! Her questionable release strategy kind of felt like it was draining whatever hype there was for this 'album release' (which at this point feels more like a deluxe version of an existing album than an actual new release lol) but good to see that there was enough interest maintained for it to at least get a somewhat decent first week position.

Poor Vera Lynn tho. x

Anyone who enjoys listening to Perfect during lockdown must have a very depressing life
