After the first round - which was very close between two songs! - we say goodbye to the only X Factor winning single to feature. When You Believe, a cover of the Whitney and Mariah duet, gave Leon a Christmas Number One in 2007 and stayed at the top for 3 weeks before Basshunter came along. The song was noticeably less successful than Shayne and Leona's - and I think that may have been down to Leon not being a welcome winner like the previous two rather than the cover itself because let's face it the winning singles are never works of art. All I can say is don't expect Leon to feature again in this Survivor series. :kink:

One of the better winning songs imo! Might have helped that I didn't know the original beforehand.

Feel like I'm gonna be the sole voter for Scissor Sisters for a long time in this!

Baha Men beating Leon Jackson :cheeseblock: A minor victory for novelty in these polls at last x

I'll be voting for this for ages but I Kissed a Girl, it's really not aged well at all.

I liked the Leon song as well. I actually got the CD somewhere!

I guess Baha will definitely exit next as they were two votes away.

Might be the only one voting Cheryl for the duration..

Quite a strong set of #4s actually! I've gone for You're Beautiful as it's just a bit cringe and was definitely overplayed back in the day. Like a noughties 'Someone You Loved'.

Agreed! Besides the Baha Men (which I voted for) there's only one other track which I don't particularly like but I sense it will be around until the top 5.

I’ve gone with Who Let The Dogs Out mainly because it’s inevitable. Katy Perry is on borrowed time tho. I expect You’re Beautiful will go before that but I love that song.
