This EP is excellent. Big, The One and Bang Bang are all STELLAR  Mood isn’t *quite* as good but still a very decent effort.

Not liking anything on the first listen, unfortunately :( She has so many bops, but she really lacks a cohesive back catalogue and just jumps on every single trend out there, which she is proving again with this EP.

I've heard Big and Bang Bang so far and I cant say I'm that impressed. :( It just feels a bit too Jason Derulo circa 2011/2012 (when he did 'Don't Want To Go Home')

I'll take another listen later, probably with headphones to see if it was just coz I was doing stuff and pre occupied with other things at the time. But we'll see.

I don't think anyone really needs a Cohesive back catalogue in 2021. Music is much more about experimenting with sounds/genre's and I think Rita's background for this EP is actually quite inspiring (That's if it's true) I like the idea of bringing back major collab work like those that she listened to over lockdown last year: Amy/Ronson, Timberlake/Pharrell and Aaliyah/Timbaland etc..

I'm 50/50 on this - 'Mood' was a racket and 'Bang Bang' a bit too tacky (sorry, not getting the fuss there!) but I did quite enjoy the other two songs. 'Big' is fierce and 'The One' was a pretty lush closer - the production reminds me of the Filatov & Karas remix of Imany's 'Don't Be So Shy'

They should have kept a few ding dongs or bem bems in Bang Bang

It sounds weird hearing the tune without them :P

It's maybe just a preference from me part. Not saying she is doing anything wrong, but to me it just feels like I still don't really know who Rita Ora is as an artist after all these years.

How did Mood make the cut? Trying to make good rhyme with mood... :selena:

Actually really like the other three though! Big sounds like the one with the most hit potential, Bang Bang is a bit gimmicky but I can see past that because it’s so catchy ha. Agree with Jade about The One, love the production on that.

The whole Ep bops. Miss Rita did THAT !

A shame clubs/festivals are not around currently as they would eat this whole Ep up .

Really liking this overall!

I'm not a fan of 'Mood' but the other three are all great! I'd say 'The One' is the standout track for me atm

This EP is so f***ing GREAT I did not expect this !?!?

Y'all doing 'Mood' dirty in here when it's absolutely brilliant, but then all 4 tracks are pretty great so ~

Music video for Big (or EP film as she likes to put it!) is out! Tell me this doesn't look like a Eurovision postcard

Nice acapella version of Bang Bang towards the end as well as Mood as an intro!

On first couple of listens, I'm not quite so keen on Big or Mood, but Bang Bang and The One are AMAZING
I'm sorry but sampling Crazy Frog is just embarrassing & makes it unlistenable for me.

The last track on the EP is alright.

I'd like to think it's a sample of the original rather than the Crazy Frog version.

What happened to 'Married to the Melody'? Was that just a rumoured title?

It’ll be released, she teased it yesterday on instagram live.
