Fourth to be eliminated is the 2007 breakthrough single from Kate Nash - 'Foundations'. Released in June 2007, 'Foundations' spent five weeks at #2 behind Rihanna's 'Umbrella' and Timbaland's 'The Way I Are'. It is arguably one of the most unlucky number two singles, having missed out on the coveted top spot by just 16 copies! The song was a local hit, never making much of an impact elsewhere around the world, and made #16 on the US Bubbling Under Hot 100. Fun fact: Kate controversially won Best British Female at the 2008 Brit Awards (I say "controversially", it was in my opinion :lol:).

I honestly thought 'Foundations' would reach the top 5 for sure. Thankfully it didn't happen!

 

'The Promise' & 'These Words' are equally awful imo so it's tough to vote for just one here. I'll opt for 'These Words' this time because it means I've voted for them all in different rounds.
