^ Ooh I hadn't clocked that the "a dime and a nine, it was mine every week" lyric was a reference to 'Old Town Road's 19 week Billboard reign, makes so much sense now!

Really glad that the whole song from the music video is on streaming now <3 'Satan’s Extended version' though *_*

This is so good and I love the video. It has over 37.5 million views. :o It's doing huge numbers on youtube!
Normally hip hop and R&B ain't my style but this is really strong. The lyrics hit really hard for me and I love the effort there, and the music video is very controversial and it got me thinking deeply over the last few days with the metaphor and imagery, which the message came across really well, supported by the PR on Twitter as well. Overall, this is a genius work and gets us to rethink about how we define religion, let alone sadly the terrible homophobia we are still receiving on day-to-day basis despite advances in legislation on LGBTQIAPK+ rights.

Yeah this is actually quite impressive, enjoying it a lot - definitely feel like it reflects his personality and his confidence, he's becoming a really strong role model for young people.

Bonus marks for the video and how much it's winding up all the right people, haha!!

It's stunning in isolation!

The early predictions from Talk of the Charts on Twitter had him debuting at #5 but that was based on very early numbers and he's picked up quickly since then (I see they have now posted a new tweet saying he is the 'favourite' to be #1 next week). I wonder how long he'll manage to stay at the top this time, it already looks like it's going nowhere any time soon.
This feels like such an important #1, someone unapologetically gay and being a rapper/poc - this will be so important for young queer kids. He should be so so proud! Aside of all of that, the song is a bop!!

I’ve just seen the video for the first time and it is amazing

:cheer:
