It also really annoys me that they’re incapable of using a song that wasn’t successful in America and how much Ru had to be told what the references were in Snatch Game- every song this season has been big in America as well as the U.K. to ensure Ru knew it and I’d so much rather we had an actual British queen as the host as Ru just seems so out of touch with it all

Sister fucking Sister surviving again? you have to laugh. you can tell they're just not a nice person at all too, some of those comments tonight...

 

Bimini absolutely smashed that, Katie Price was a smart choice and she executed the whole thing perfectly. I am slightly miffed that A'Whora ended up getting the critiques she did though because I was howling at Louie Spence the whole time - she had the gags, the accent was on point (I don't understand why they're saying that was off-putting when that is... literally how he talks?), and it was enjoyable all round. Her runway was amazing too, so it seems she's always just going to be sidelined by Ru in favour of others.

 

Ellie actually surprised me with Vicky Pollard (still wondering why she felt the need to always refer to the character as Matt Lucas though, hun everybody knows who Vicky Pollard is...). I still really cannot take to Ellie at all, but there's no denying she had the character on point. The voice, the random v-flicks, the facial expressions, it was great! My only side-eye is that she didn't once even attempt to 'yeah-but-no-but'.

 

Astounded at just how bad Lawrence turned out to be though oops. I didn't expect it would be *that* funny prior to watching, and I wasn't shocked when it fell completely flat. I assumed he'd be able to do something with it, or salvage it after the first joke went down like a lead balloon, but nope.

 

Overall a decent episode and although it's a shame it was absolutely Tia's time to go before she started outstaying her welcome majorly.

^^^ There’s a rule I believe that you can’t be a character for Snatch Game- you can be a real person- as a character but not a character so if someone was going to do say- Tracy Beaker- they’d have to be Dani Harmer.

 

Only exception is Kim Chi’s because that wasn’t a real person, or a real character

You're not actually allowed to play a character on Snatch Game, it has to be a real person, so I'm guessing that the only way of bypassing that is by crediting it as the actor. Hence Crystal as "Ru McClanaghan" last year.

Tia and Lawrence really were by FAR the worst 2 this week. Mad really as would peg them as the 2 biggest comedy queens so for both to bomb!

 

All of the other 6 really impressed me. All of them made me laugh, was pleasantly surprised with Ellie and Sister Sister was fully expecting them to be boring.

 

Also didn't get why Awhora got bad critiques but I guess they had to have a bottom 3?

As much as I LOVEEEE Tia, I do think it was her time to go this week. I was looking forward to see her on Snatch Game, especially with her doing Mel B but it just fell a bit flat unfortunately. Still think she is one of the best queens we have seen this season and looking forward to see what she'll be doing next.

 

Bimini was obviously fantastic and a very deserved winner. Her Katie Price was so, so good and the runway look was sensational. Ellie surprised me, still by far my least favourite queen, but she did better than expected. Lawrence really bombed but no way Ru was going to sent her home, and I didn't really get the A'Whora critisim. When she was left, I thought she would be in the top with Tayce and Bimini!

 

Pretty gutted they didn't do a Jessie lipsync though! That would have been so good.

Pretty poor snatch game sadly aside from Bimini who f***ing killed it. Even Gemma and Michelle were pretty full contestants, just disappointing for me.

 

So happy for Bimini though, she was hilarious and put out a phenomenal performance, definitely setting herself up as a challenger for the crown so nice to see it isn’t looking as one sided as it was. Only thing that did bug me was the judges giving her a pass for having to explain her runway when they were so critical on it before. Granted I thought she looked great so not a slight at Bimini but the inconsistency was annoying to see.

 

Aside from that everyone was just meh or worse for me. Was surprised to see Tayce get so positively critiqued, I just didn’t see it though she was one of the better ones. On the other side I don’t get why A’Whora was at risk, she was funny, the judges even said they liked it. Just felt they were trying to pull her down for the sake of it.

 

Was nice to see Ellie get some storyline this week and I’m glad she was safe but I don’t think she’s got much left in her. It’s a shame as she had such a good start but hopefully she can come back in a few years and kill it when she’s a bit more experienced.

 

I think I’d have had Sister in the bottom over Tia. Both didn’t perform awfully but I laughed more at Tia than Sister. Can’t really disagree with the outcome though which is gutting, Tia’s been a highlight of the series and I think she’ll be a massive loss going on.

 

I’m shocked Lawrence bombed Snatch Game so badly, all she had to do was play herself and I thought she’d be challenging for win #4. I can’t say I’m sad though, was hoping her performance might finally let us see another side of her but sadly not. It’s just the same Lawrence week in week out and I’m not interested at this point.

 

Also can the U.K. please step up the lip syncs, I think the only one I’ve actually enjoyed to this point was Sister’s. They just end the episodes on a bit of a low note.

Another great episode. I was surprised at how badly Lawrence did. Her runway wasn't that good either? I mean it was OK, but compared to some of the other girls it wasn't that good.

 

Ellie really surprised me, she did well as Vicky Pollard! I thought she would've been in the top 3 if there was a top 3. Sister Sister did decently. I thought A'Whora did quite well too, although she was the 3rd worst - but there was a decent gap between her and Lawrence/Tia. Speaking of Tia, she completely bombed it this week :( The bottom 2 was right and it was time for Tia to go. I will miss her though.

 

Tayce was so good in the snatch game and had a great runway! But unfortuantely for Tacye; Bimini absolutely killed the snatch game. :wub: And her runway look was GORGEOUS! Lowkey turning into a Bimini stan. Her second challenge win :wub: Tayce/Bimini definitely look to be stepping up and becoming front runners now. I do wonder if Lawrence can make a comeback after being bottom 2. The Vivienne did have one week in the bottom two last series and I was thinking it seemed they were setting up Lawrence to be something like The Vivienne.

 

 

I thought that the top 3 for Snatch Game were going to be Bimini, Ellie and Awhora. Was lowkey shocked that Tayce was in the top...

I don’t think I have been this obsessed with a queen since Katya.

I’m gutted that we have another week of Sister Sister — funny, after last week, that her look was so similar to A’Whora (again) and Lawrence. A genuine coincidence, I’m sure. I do understand that Tia has been lacking for weeks now — those looks, honey, but I would rather her skate by instead.

 

I agree, it's such a shame that Sister has been here in favour of much more interesting and talented queens in Ginny, Asttina, Cherry and now Tia :(

Bimini is one of the most root-able queens ever :wub: The joy I feel when she does well! Same goes for Tia too such a likeable person and I'm sure she'll have a successful career after the show with how she's presented herself

RIGHT - I'm gonna ask this. I really really really like Bimini, I root for them to do well and I think they've been my winner like 3 weeks in a row.

 

But, there's something stopping me LOVING them like a favourite. And I want to know what it is that really is tipping it for people. I think they're fantastic but kind of a little quiet, I don't feel like I spend a lot of time laughing at them out of drag/their talking heads for example. I'm waiting for something to click and for me to obsess over them but it's not happening the way it is for everyone else. :(

 

I kinda felt the same about Crystal Methyd, maybe I just don't gravitate as immediately to personalities that aren't like BIG.

Not to be premature but I think Bimini has to be one of my fave Snatch Games ever, Katie Price was right at the top of my wishlist and she NAILED it. Every single second, every mannerism, every joke, a home run. She's really hitting her stride and is just such a star, so likeable in and of herself and she is beginning to just attack every challenge, she's got that effortless air to it all too, whether it's her comic timing, eye for fashion or just general star quality and flair. And she just seems like an angel too, such good vibes.

 

I read that this was meant to be one of the best Snatch Games ever, it certainly was not :lol: Pretty good though, I thought Tayce was excellent too as you could tell she knew the character and where to take it, Kath is another top of my wishlist character and she embodied her so well, I just wish she popped in a "look at moiiiiiii" :lol: I really liked Ellie's too, she didn't just rely on the "yeah but no but" obvious trope she had the characteristics and mannerisms, it wasn't like wow standout amazing but it was solid. If you'd told me before the episode that Ellie was going to have a strong Snatch Game and Lawrence was in the bottom I'd have laughed!

 

The others I was various shades of disappointed by, or have little to say about. Lawrence really bombed, I thought maybe she would just be herself which wouldn't have been a GREAT Snatch Game, but it would have at least been funny. She basically put a posh voice on and made two shit jokes then flatlined :lol: Tia wasn't much better, I did laugh at the Eddie Murphy joke the first time but that was all she had so also that came to a flatline. A'whora was in the middle, you could see she tried and went for it, the elements were there but they just weren't fitted in the right places. I just think it was a character who was going to be hard to hit just right with as the judges said.

 

Have to agree on Sister too. It's just... baffling someone can be so bland yet so unlikeable. You just get nothing but bad vibes from the limited airtime she has, she never seems to really be happy for anyone or supporting them, you just see snide comments and there is nothing memorable about her drag to make up for that.

For me, personally it's the positive aura they radiate and just general charisma. It has been gradual for me with each episode but I fully stan now.

Also of course the Sister Sister of S1 (Crystal) is trying to police opinions on Drag Race. It's so tiring that you can't even seem to offer some sort of criticism on a reality show you watch and feel passionate about, unless it's positive. It's tiring.
