Almost all of my votes finished in the top 10 as well as myself so not much to complain about (could've done with Le Tigre and Rinse and Repeat being higher tho), thanks all so much for voting Frozen Night and continuing my streak of success in this contest with symphonic metal entries *.* I only ever seem to do well here with my instrumentals so maybe that's a hint to me x

My own entry flopped a bit after a vaguely promising start but this was still fun, thanks for hosting Bré!

Hopefully people love my entry as much as I do, probably my favourite I have entered into any of these contests.

Usually in these I try and guess what everyone else likes and fail spectacularly, so perhaps sending a song you love actually works. Who knew! I recently moved to a new city in a different country and I've been wandering around and exploring with 'Hard Drive' on constant rotation. I've found it really therapeutic and special, so hopefully some of you have feel similarly. 🤍

I think this is very possibly my favourite Nuggets winner to date (well, excluding my own) - it's the second time my 12 pointer has won I believe, the previous one being Blossoms' 'Charlemagne'. I can only hope Cassandra Jenkins goes on to enjoy as much mainstream relevance.

 

(both of Jade's winners are up there with my faves as well, would probably put them both ahead of Blossoms even though neither of them quite got my 12 - those 4 and my own are a very clear top 5, most of the others I actually didn't vote for at all)

A bit :/ on my result but I suppose I'm really familiar with my entry having heard it thousands of times in a game I've played a lot so maybe it just sounds extra banging to me because it's one of those ones I found the artist name for after about a year. And the aforementioned game is a bit of a meme with friends. :lol:
