'Cold Heart' looking good to stick at #2 this week then?

Also pleasantly surprised that Lil Nas X is actually at #1 on the albums chart already, I thought we'd probably have one of the albums with high physical sales (Bob Dylan/Genesis/Lindsey Buckingham) #1 in the early update before giving way to either him or Drake. Going to be a very low mark for the #1 whoever gets it but I hope Nas can hold on.

FYI - MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name) is still on ACR but doing more than enough for a reset. On SCR, it would be #11, so expect it a lot higher by the end of the week!
Manic's still in the top 10, currently at 6. good to see them still doing well, Iron Maiden also still in top 20 but less surprising as that album is doing ok on streaming
Looks like Talk About and Need To Know are on ACR this week. Talk About is currently at #40 and Need To Know is currently at #49.
These singles "sales" at the top look really low don't they.
horrible sales for Lil Nas X, thought he would have sold 15-20k by now...
^it's not out on physicals

Surprised Lil Nas X isn’t doing more than that even without a physical. Drake likely to get a default second week.

Also the sales in the singles poor too but glad Elton looking likely for number two.

The Iron Maiden album was only #50 on the streaming chart in its first week and dropped out in its second week - better than the Manic Street Preachers showing as that didn't make the top 100 of the streaming chart at all but still not really a huge factor. Iron Maiden just had high enough sales in their first week that they could coast to another week or two at decent positions even with a huge dropoff, I expect they'll still be out of the top 100 pretty quickly.

but most of his fans are mostly into streaming so i dont think he would have sold that much on physicals... its even underperforming in the US selling almost 130k not enough for number 1...

too bad, hes so talented and his album is amazing...hopefully it will be a constant seller...

If it isn’t selling that well in the States I would think homophobia is a large reason for it
130k is pretty good especially for an album without a physical release (I'm sure Lil Nas X would be able to sell a decent amount of physical copies). It'll be comfortably within the top 10 highest debuts for rap albums this year so far, most likely 6th or 7th. Drake, Kanye and J. Cole are way ahead as the top 3 and Lil Nas X is looking to do just a little less than Tyler, The Creator, Lil Baby/Lil Durk and maybe Polo G. And worth noting Tyler did sell quite a substantial amount in pure sales (he 'only' did 114k in streams so Nas will probably beat that) and the latter two both benefited heavily from having extremely bloated tracklists which counts for more in the US than it does in the UK. Lil Nas X could easily have padded his album out to 20 odd tracks as well and that'd push his US sales up further.
Amazing that Cold Heart is holding at #2, really hoping it can hold on to that position until Friday and that Industry Baby can make it to #3!

What i dont get, lil nas x put a lot of effort into the album cover

And everybody was talking about it

But then there are no physicals

Its a shame

It is one album I would actually quite like having a physical copy of because of the artwork. Hopefully a physical cd/vinyl release will follow in the future.
